I would recommend the pizzas but not the kebabs, I find the donner meat very chewy and tough, but the pizzas are lovely. Not always a good idea to order on Just-eat, as it does take them a while to take the order, especially when you don't want your internet to lose connection. Quite a few times I have shoved the food in the microwave as it does turn up lukewarm. If they could sort the donner meat and maybe buy a heated bag, then I may return with an extra star or two.

Hmm bright, distracting colours seems to be the theme here. Well when two girls glide on past with five pizza boxes muttering "this smells fit this does," why not give the company for pizzas a try. So the pizza smelt fragrant but how does it taste? Well pretty much good stuff. I went for a traditional margherita as i'm often dubious with takeaways. The place was buzzing full of what seemed regulars so its clearly doing some good. Tick against the pizza co for now.

Competition is tight here, with Pizza Co, Abdul's, Il Padrino, and another pizza place (the name escapes me at the moment) all sat next to each other. I'd only ever been to Abdul's, and it suited me fine for what I needed - a quick, late-night snack. I was never overly impressed with the food though...the meat always tended to be really dry, but that was made up for with all the sauces and toppings. I decided to try something different though, and gave Pizza Co. a try. I'm happy that I took that chance - see ya later, Abdul's, I'm heading to Pizza Co. from now on! The service was extraordinarily friendly, with the guys behind the counter chatting lively with customers. The food availability was fast - two of my mates had gone to Abdul's instead, and I got my food way before they got theirs. The look of the food isn't as impressive as Abdul's with its assorted sauces and veg, but it's tasty and filling. I got a chicken wrap for £3, which consisted of three delicious and well-sized pieces of chicken with some shredded lettuce in a tortilla-style wrap, pressed like a panini. I added a side order of chips for another £1.10 - big portion of thick proper chips, not the thin fries offered at the nearby shops. The shop is kept clean, so we all sat inside to take a break and eat. That also means easy access to the chilli sauce if you want extra hotness for your meal (I always do), or mayo and ketchup if that's more up your alley. I haven't tried the pizzas here yet, but they seem like they'd be a good deal too. I definitely plan on returning and working my way through the rest of the menu.

Okay. Let's not beat about the bush here. I'm reviewing a Domino's. A *Domino's*. Now we shan't get…read moreinto the ins and outs of how terrible it is as a corporation, a chain, a pizza manufacturer so far from the dish's original incarnation it deserves a separate name... but it's a guilty pleasure of mine and I'm comfortable with that. In fact I'm so comfortable with it, I'm not even feeling guilty. The Two for Tuesday offer, which means you can essentially get two obscenely large pizzas for the price of one, allowed myself and my loved ones to feast for three days straight. Note: Domino's pizzas reheat exceptionally well. (Follow-up: For god's sake keep it refrigerated, don't blame me if you get a sore tummy now.) When we review chains on Yelp we're often asked, what makes this different from any other? I shall divulge. The students of Fallowfield, despite appearances, are a discerning bunch, and this practically 24 hour shop ensures that delivery happens on the dot. Right bang smack. Oh yes, I sat there and tracked it once on the page they offer for this process, just to check. Literally as soon as the clock on my computer hit 15 minutes past, the buzzer on my building sounded. You can't argue with that. Piping hot and on form too, without any quibbles over incorrect orders or mashed slices. Overall Domino's might be a stupidly pricey option if you're just getting food delivered on a regular night, but if you're getting a whole free pizza on top of your order, then the issue's resolved. I'll keep using this Domino's when I'm peckish and desperate. Judge me all you like...

For those that happen to be stuck in the Trafford Centre on a marathon shopping exhibition with their family or beloved however, Pizza Express offers a moment of respite. Admittedly, if there's a pause between songs on the stereo you can still hear the faint sound of thousands of people marching to the consumer drum but otherwise, Pizza Express is a great place to unwind, eat and recharge your batteries. Like the other city centres branches, the menu is extensive with a long list of meat and vegetarian pizzas with every topping you'd imagine from mozzarella, parma ham and pepperoni to capers, olives, asparagus, artichokes and courgettes. One of my favourites is the Padana - which is goats cheese, spinach and caramelised onions on a thin and crispy base. My advice? Stay here until the shops have closed and the masses have driven home. It'll make your escape / exit much more relaxed.
