Whether you're ringing up for a delivery, or stopping in on the way back from one of Town Street's numerous bars or pubs, you're assured of quick and friendly service (especially if you get served by the teenage kid with the squeaky voice - legend). On to the food then, and, as its known as a 'Chicago's Pizza & Balti', you'd expect the pizzas and curries to be something special. They don't disappoint. The curries are traditional and delicious if you're drunk or sober, but it's the pizzas that steal the show - gloriously cheesy and generously topped (infact, for the Ham & Mushroom Pizza, they seem to put a full layer of ham underneath the cheese for full coverage!). The rest of the menu is also miles beyond the competition (the burgers, fried chicken, kebabs all go down a treat), but if you want a true taste of Chicago's, get a pizza, and make it a 'Ham & Mush'. You won't regret it.

My friends and I were here regularly and the food has always been top notch. So far the Spaghetti Carbonara is the best I've ever had in my life. The fig and goat cheese salad (Insalata di Rucola Fichi Caprino e Pinoli) is a must try. Rocco and his team give great customer service!

Firstly you can never get hold of them when you try call to book for a table or to order for collection. We went there last Friday evening and the manager told us that they just don't answer the phone if they too busy. Which I think it ridiculous and such bad management. Secondly we walked in to make a booking as we tried 3 weeks in a row to call and book and no one answered. We got there and were told to wait an hour before we could get a table. We waited. Eventually we got a table it took another hour to get our food. We watched a family of 7 people arrive for a birthday dinner which they had made a reservation for, the manager turned them away and said that they too busy. Service is a massive role in the restaurant industry and the service lead by the new manager is appalling.

I ordered through Just Eat, and was a little unimpressed with the food arriving about 10/15 minutes later than it said it would, especially when the times given on Just Eat tend to be very generous and I'm used to it arriving before the stated time. Anyway, once it was delivered by a very friendly man, I cracked it open and was immediately impressed. I'd gone for the mixed grill kebab on naan, and the meat looked fantastic. It came with 2 little tubs of sauces too - one was a tasty chilli sauce and the other tasted like a raita that wasn't too intense. So I threw them both all over the kebab! This turned out to be a good move, and the combo worked brilliantly. With kebabs in general the sauce is all important for me, so I was already a fan once I'd tasted that! The meat was excellent too - cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The only bad point here was that one of the pieces had a massive bone in it which was pretty annoying, and I don't know if this was intentional or an accident. Either way, as annoying as it was it didn't spoil everything. Overall then it was definitely a 4* kebab, and I will be dipping in again at some point in the near future.

I daren't sing it allowed lest it…read morehaunt me all night for doing so, so I'll spare you the pain too and resist typing it down. Anyway. Pizza Hut. What can I say? Of all the pizza places this one is my guilty favourite. I remember when I was younger my Mum refused to let me, my sister and brother from purchasing any fast food. We weren't allowed any McDonalds, KFC, Burger King - none of it. The only place we were treated to every once in a blue moon was Pizza Hut! Still today, it's the only 'fast food' style place that I'll allow myself to eat. With a superior crispy base and delicious melty deep pan style pizza, why would you go anywhere else? They are on the pricey side, but not quite so rip-tastic as Dominos. Always the pepperoni on a traditional base. No fuss, no worries, just some tasty pizza. This particular branch does local delivery and takeaway!

Just had a delivery order from here (I would have ordered from El Faro's, the best pizza in Leeds,…read morefact, but I didn't have cash and I'm lazy so leaving the house to visit a cashpoint wasn't a viable option). The website is ridiculously confusing - once I'd sorted out my 'basket' with its side orders and customised pizza, I had to register to use the online ordering system, which then resulted in the contents of my basket being deleted. Nice. Ten minutes later though I was done, with my email confirmation saying it would be with me 'ASAP'. A very polite Pizza Hut driver named Scott called me about twenty minutes after this to check the address and get directions, and then he surprised me by buzzing the buzzer about thirty seconds later. Super speedy. Like Billy Whizz. Billy Whizza! Anyhoo. The pizza should have been tasty because it should have had olives on it (among other things). But could I find any? Nope. None. Olives are my staple pizza ingredient, and I get most upset if I can't have them. I get more upset if I've paid for them already and they're missing. So for that, Horsforth Pizza Hut, you lose one star, and Pizza Hut in general, you lose a star for having a stupid website.
