I've seen this food truck in Nulu a few times so I had to check it out finally. Their slices are $7 +$1 for each topping. You can get a whole pizza "hoe pie" for $24 +$4 for each topping. Ended up being $30 for a whole pizza which is pricey but it was a good size pizza. The pizza was super tasty! Huge slices and great crust. Check them out if you see them around town!

Super chill music and relaxing atmosphere inside. And of course the pizza was tasty AF as always. Thanks for your hospitality tonight Jan!

Notice some of the slices have cooked edges.

I did not…read more I've been eating their lovely thick crust style (and loving it) my whole life...but tonight hubby wanted thin, and I'm a changed woman. This is also an ad for the WHAS Crusade for Children pizza passport. If you don't have one, get one. Amazing deal, great cause. Anyway, we got the thin crust sweet and spicy pepperoni. In the end, only one slice remains...and if my husband tries to eat it, he will not remain long either. Crunchy, chewy, no flop. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese, good sweet and spicy combo with little cup pepperoni. Loved it. Great service at this location and always a stellar food experience.

My book club met at Impellizzeri's this week, and upon discovering several of us have dietary limitations, the server and kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure our ongoing health. A wonderful kitchen wizard ventured out into the dining room to talk to us personally, and confirmed that all the traditional pizza doughs, pastas, and red sauces are vegan. He offered to create a custom pasta dish with a variety of vegetables (spaghetti pomarola with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms), and ensured that the breadsticks that accompany the pasta dish (traditionally made with garlic butter and cheese) were vegan, prepared in a separate location in the kitchen to ensure no dairy contamination. For those with other food allergies and intolerances they ensured every detail was correct, even noticing that a pizza that was inadvertently prepared with an offending food item, and remaking it before it was even finished baking. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quantity and the truly excellent service, which is what truly made the experience special. My pasta dish was tasty. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No - but it wasn't trying to be. What Impellizzeri's does well is serve good food at reasonable prices, in a location and with people who have an eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service. Well done.

My husband enjoyed the buffalo wings and the portion was a nice amount to share or eat as your meal. Service was attentive. Our food came accurately and fairly fast. I appreciated the jug of water left on the table. No issue needing anything or waiting for it. Compared to our primary location (Shelbyville Rd), this spot is much smaller. You may need to wait a few minutes for the tables to open up. We sat near the kitchen so lots of traffic - the alternative was to be fairly close to other customers. During nicer weather there is a patio to enjoy. Plenty of parking - Coal's shares a space with several restaurants and shops.

Well, should probably skip one with a topping you're allergic to, but otherwise no excuses. The Chef's Favorite version of the Brownsboro is one of my favorite pizzas, period--the chili honey drizzle and banana peppers give it just the right balance of mild heat and amazing flavor. Some good apps (love the meatballs), and solid selection of cocktails, beers, and wine as well. Relaxed but subtly vibrant atmosphere. The space is not huge, but they seem to get you seated reasonably quickly. Service is always friendly. A must-try pizza place.
