We had the most amazing sunset photo session with Sarah and the resulting pictures are incredible!…read moreIf you're undecided on which photographer to go with, she is THE best. Five stars all the way around, from responsive customer service, to the session experience itself, to ordering prints and wall decor. Working with Sarah is effortless, comfortable, and she creates beautiful moments while you don't even realize it. You will not be disappointed if you book with her! We were able to schedule a session in the La Quinta Cove right before Thanksgiving, and I expressed we wanted a family photo to include in our Christmas card. Sarah texted us our proofs right away in spite of the busy holiday season! We really appreciated the quick turnaround. We arrived to our session 30 minutes late, and in the wrong area. This was completely our fault but Sarah was extremely gracious, professional, and met us where we were at. She was prepared to make the best of it with the dwindling daylight but also offered us a reschedule. I thought that was so thoughtful, and we opted to press forward anyway. Sarah worked some magic, she worked quickly, and coached us through some poses that weren't awkward at all. It wasn't just your typical department store family photo - she got some shots of our son alone, some father/son photos, mother/son photos and us as a couple. She made us feel comfortable to just be ourselves. All of the anxiety and stress from traveling with a toddler and arriving late melted away, and we had fun with our session! At one point our son decided he wanted to be upside-down in our arms and Sarah caught this candid moment on camera, which became our family Christmas card this year. When I received the link to our online photo gallery, I cried. Words cannot express how the pictures exceeded our expectations. When I look at the gallery I see the love and respect we have for each other, our strong family bond, and our son's personality brimming with mischief and curiousity. I see what makes us, us. As a mom, now I have these beautiful keepsake moments and I didn't have to be the one behind the camera, left out of the pictures (Moms, you know what I'm talking about!). I honestly cannot decide which of the photos to display. They are all just that good! We will be doing our next family photos with Sarah and I highly recommend her. This is a meaningful time with family and would make an excellent gift too!

Misti was very nice and professional when it came to the planning and showing up for the wedding…read more She took pictures with nice views and distances. Problem was that we discussed prior to the signing of the contract that we would like to have our pictures edited a certain way. More dark and cool, not so shaded and tan/warms. We wanted this cause it would look beautiful with the dark trees of the forest as well as my dark hair against my pale skin. I also didn't want my skin blending into my ivory dress. We gave her 3 example pictures of how we would like it as well. She agreed on many occasions that it would be okay. We also verified with her on the DAY OF our wedding that it would be done that way and she assured us. When we received our pictures 3 weeks later, NONE of them were as discussed and when we told her what we discussed she then deleted ALL of our pictures (about 150-200) from the link and only re-edited about 15 of them to the picture editing we discussed. Not to mention they were done very quickly and just looked really bad. My face looked dark. I was able to download most of them before she deleted them from the link but it's more so a disappointment because it was not what we disused and we can't get this day back. This was suppose to be a really BIG SPECIAL time in our lives. I live with this sadness now. So disappointed. Edit: I have attached our email correspondence and the 3 pictures we asked for the editing to look like and she agreed she could do BEFORE we signed the contract. I also attached the photos she took and edited. Her editing style is pretty, yes but it's the fact that it's not what we all discussed and agreed upon. We were under the impression of at least receiving 50-50 her style and the style we discussed but that's not what happened. At the end of the day my husband and I decided to just take what we got and move forward because it's not like anything will change and there are 2 sides to every story. This review is written because we are hurt and disappointed but it is what it is.

Misti is a lifestyle photographer. Our posed pictures are great, but the photos of us just being silly and enjoying the lake/forest together are so beautiful. Although she's busy, she still gets your photos to you quickly. For me personally, she does the right amount of editing and filtering. All the photos were cropped perfectly as well (I'm very particular). She truly is an amazing photographer/artist. Our photo shoot with Misti was worth the drive up to the mountains. She's super affordable and worth every penny. She really made my vision come to life and I will cherish our first family photos forever!
