Then we asked for the original version since they butchered it and they asked for $30 extra for the files. So you're not going to have a discussion then you're going to do something against the customers wishes and then have them pay extra on top of that? There are so many photo studios in Ktown. Jae was early to our son's 100 day photo shoot and had already scoped out the area. In fact, he braved sitting under the blazing sun to reserve the best bench seat for our photos. He worked quickly and naturally and made our entire family feel at ease. We then drove to our second destination for a quick shoot at a local downtown restaurant. Jae hopped in an Uber and met us at the restaurant where he proceeded with another shoot for about 30 minutes. Within two weeks, Jae emailed us the photos via his website where we had a chance to select 10 photos to get retouched. We were quite pleased with the photos. Within another two weeks, we received a link to the photos on his site where we were able to download color, B&W, and the retouched photos. We wanted to capture this event in the best way possible through photographs that we can keep and treasure for the rest of our lives. Jae did not disappoint. He did an amazing job of identifying the little things that matter most to parents but are often overlooked and captured them in print. For example, he got a wonderful shot of my grandparents holding our baby for the first time. The joy on their faces is priceless. We didn't want too many staged shots where people are forced to pose and smile so he accommodated us by taking real life photos. Harder said than done considering that everyone was partying and moving all the time. All the pictures turned out great. On a side note, Jae is super funny. He really know how to make people (and our baby) laugh with his sense of humor. That's an underrated skill because I hate photos where people look grumpy, angry or sad. My baby is smiling in almost all of the photos we got. My wife and I are thankful that Jae stayed an hour and a half longer than our alloyed time because our party went on longer than expected. I decided to find a proper photography studio that specialized in passports. There was no one else in the studio that day, and I just walked in. The photographer had me sit against the white backdrop and posed me. I asked whether I had to move my hair behind my shoulders or out of my face for a passport photo, and he laughed and said he didn't know. After he took 4 pictures, we sat down at the computer to look at them. I hated all of them. The colors were flat and unflattering, and my lips were slightly parted so he colored my teeth in as opposed to retaking the shot. When he asked which photo I liked, I told him "none of them, really" and suggested taking another. He laughed and said no. I paid $30 for awful photos, and they didn't seem to know anything about passport photo regulations. Really disappointed that I came here. If I were a passport photographer and I didn't have any other clients waiting, I would take as many photos I had to until the client was happy! It's a digital camera and the rest can just be deleted! I ended up going to a mailbox store and paying $17 for a much better photo. Maybe this studio is good for family photos or other sessions, but not passports.

I notified him over 24 hours prior to our session, but Andy was not understanding or compassionate towards our unfortunate situation, and stated that he would not refund us the $100 deposit or reschedule, even though it was something out of our control. We simply could have gone through with the photo session and not told him that my family member had covid, but we care about his safety and let him know. Since he was not understanding the situation for us, we asked if we could just change to an outdoor session so he could be safe and be far enough away and still take photos, but he refused to work with us. Since he refused, we asked if we could reschedule for our daughter's 1 year old photos in 6 months and use the deposit towards that, but he said he would only give us a one-month time frame to reschedule. This does not do us any good because our daughter is only 6 months old, and my family from Korea had already left. I would not recommend this photographer because he is not willing to work with you or be flexible, has terrible customer service, and only cares about his money.
