I began seeing Fran in 2013 for migraine headaches, after many years of medical treatments that just weren't working. Each time I have been in to the clinic, I have been treated with respect by the office staff and Fran. On days when my migraines were especially bad, the flexibility in scheduling was evident -- they'd get me in within hours instead of days. Pivotal Point is my first and only experience in an acupuncture clinic, so while I can't compare it to others, I can tell you that I've been nothing but pleased. Fran has had my headaches duration and frequency down to much more tolerable levels than any traditional western medical treatment. I traveled 632 miles for an esoteric acupuncture appointment with Fran and I will do it again! From the warm greeting that I received as soon as I walked into the office, to Fran's compassionate presence in the treatment room, I loved every minute of my appointment. I first learned of esoteric acupuncture from Fran about a year ago when we first met at a conference. From our first conversation, her ability to integrate knowledge from her various studies impressed me. One of the basic principles of esoteric acupuncture is "to balance and strengthen the opposing energy fields of the heart and love versus the kidneys and fear." (Antahakarana: Celestial Fullness Esoteric Acupuncture Volume VI by Dr. Mikio Sankey. Fran and I discussed some of the patterns that were available and as soon as she told me which pattern she was recommending, I knew she intuitively grasped what I was seeking. From the first couple of needles she inserted, I could feel the energy moving in patterns of triangulation. It felt truly amazing. I felt in such a place of love. I have been a client of Fran's for 3.5 years and I have been more than pleased with the services offered and the time dedicated to each session. She works to learn your whole body's "story" and follows an ever evolving treatment plan, keeping your priorities at the fore front. She is very good at what she does; she discovered my Type 1 diabetes and gluten intolerance a year before my doctors did. She and I formulated a treatment path, modified my diet, and my health improved drastically. I now have a very healthy 11 month old and it's all because she set me up for success. read more

Pivotal point acupuncture (Franciska Anderson) when she first started out she was at her top of her game she was very much hands on and did a really good job and placing needles. But more recently she's had to deal with cancer and survived. but also lost touch and her own business of doing acupuncture. She has one employee that seems to run the show. This employee seems to like to play games with their customers. She makes it very difficult to get you an appointment that works for you. I believe she has no training on how to make appointments. And also has a very poor attitude. It wasn't about getting in quickly it was about getting a time that wouldn't inconvenience my work schedule or my volunteer hours. Franciska did call me and told me it wasn't The employees fault for the schedule that it was her fault. She did not grasp the idea that her employee has a bad attitude and was playing games with getting people scheduled. Bottom line I would avoid going to this acupuncturist at all costs. There are plenty others out there with a better attitude and better business practices than this one. If Franciska reaches out to me again and proves to me that she has changed her Business practices I will revise my review. Sincerely, long-term patient of pivotal point. But no more!!! read more
