He does not know how to be considerate of people's time and taking time off work to give ample notification, atleast on the day before the surgery. The first time he cancelled, we were notified once we got to the hospital and the second time he cancelled, we were notified 10 mins before our arrival time to the hospital. My nephew injured himself two months ago and the first time they put a cast on him, they did not realize that he actually needed surgery so he was MIS-DIAGNOSED. After a month of wearing a cast, they took reviewed the X-ray and then realized he needed surgery. His forearm is still in a cast after 2 months and still no surgery because this doctor keeps re-scheduling and cancelling. My nephew has not been able to work all summer and has not been able to heal properly due to not having the needed surgery. He has no consideration for the patient whatsoever. We pulled him out of this doctors care and his now with a new doctor who will be seeing us immediately. We are now requesting his medical records from this office, hopefully we get it without any problems or headache. I would avoid this doctor at all costs.

Like a couple other reviews have said, they're like car salesman…read more I went in for the first time cause of some back pain, so I was hoping to get an x-ray to make sure it wasn't anything drastic. I was told that the x-ray would be a $47 "patient special." I went in, talked with one of the chiropractors about what I was dealing with and took some x-rays. Went back a couple days later to take a look at them. It wasn't anything too serious but they proposed a "treatment plan" that was just for me. They gave me 3 different prices that ranged from 900-1200. The prices were dependent on the payment method. If I payed it all upfront it would have been the cheapest price, monthly was in between and then per session was the highest price ($25 per session). It was a lot of money to consider so I wanted to take a day or so to think about it. I said this but they continued as if I had agreed to go through with the whole plan and that I could decide how to pay next time. I then got what I thought was a trial run of the treatment that consisted of a 5 mins massage and then another 5 mins laying on a massage table machine. Afterwards I tried relaying that I wasn't sure about the treatment and that I wanted time to think about it, but the respond I kept getting was "you can decide that next time you're in on how to pay." I was running late for work so I kind of gave up and left. I called back a couple days later and told them I wasn't going to go through with it and the receptionist put the owner on to try and talk me out. He tried to guilt/pressure me but it didn't matter, it was out of my budget. The next week I get a call from the office saying I owe them $25 for the first session that I wasn't even aware of that they charged for. At no point did anybody mention that my 10 min session after going in to look at my x-rays would be charged. They said it was explained to me, I said it wasn't...he said she said. I have no clue if the treatment works, maybe it does but just be aware of the hidden charges and pushy sales tactics of this place.

Obviously, no one looks forward to being injured, but this is the place to go to if you need skillful care. Dr. Tim and his staff are so kind and really listen to their patients/clients. They take into account what the client is experiencing and they adapt treatment programs accordingly. If you are an athlete or not athletic at all, you will love this place equally. It is the most comfortable environment to go through physical therapy. My teenage daughter has a sports-related injury and I trust her care here. From our very first appointment, I felt confident in her expertise, and her care over the years has been excellent. If I were rating based on her alone, this would easily be a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the overall experience with the orthopedic office is very different. The insurance department, which appears to handle requests for multiple offices, really needs improvement. Pre-authorizations are consistently a struggle, and calls from the dept. are often not returned in a timely manner--if at all. I recently spent over 2 months waiting for an update on a medication request, only to discover (after contacting my insurance company myself) that the request had never been submitted. This was especially frustrating given that I'm preparing for a 2nd out of country travel in April and need to manage my pain care ahead of time. It's disappointing that such an outstanding doctor is supported by such poor administrative processes. I genuinely hope the office addresses these issues, because patients--especially those dealing with pain and recovery--deserve far better.

The doctors recommended that I get additional therapies - dry needling and cupping. Excellent suggestions, and these therapies did WONDERS for my pain. I appreciate that they really considered how to help me and made the recommendations, and were able to perform them in-office. The PT assistant I worked most with was Kobe and he did a great job at instructing and guiding me on the various exercises while managing the other patients on the floor. The team of doctors and assistants work collaboratively to ensure that the patients stay on track. The space is large, there are benches with curtains for those who want some privacy and the studio vibe is relaxing and friendly. There are a couple of mounted tvs as well. This place was recommended to me from the hospital my mother was being released from for sub-acute rehab services. I went and toured the facility. It looked and seemed nice to the naked eye but the bogus business practices showed me what time these people are on. Its all a money grab and no integrity whatsoever. This facility has rehab and longterm care. While I was there I asked about longterm care because I knew the next step would be to bring mom home and attempt to care for her or place her somewhere that can care for a dementia immobile patient. So I give the hospital coordinator the green light to work with the ALH coordinator. ALH sends me a 15 page application to see if my mother will qualify for medicaid or financial assistance (She has medicare - private insurance). The application wanted all of my mother's account numbers and amount in them, they wanted me to sign over her SSA checks directly to them, and set up AHC payments for her care all before ever seeing a price list of any sort. Context, I told these people up front that we would be paying out of pocket because she has assets and will not qualify. That was met with MAJOR resistance and because of it, they held up the hospital discharging her to their facility for rehab. Again, the application is for longterm care, insurance would cover the rehab. So for over a week Im going back and forth between the facility and their billing office in NY simply requesting a fee list of proposed services to cover longterm care so I can budget what expenses will look like. They repeatedly told me they dont have a fee list (I sat on the phone with them while somene named Layla argued with her manager about fees). Note that with each person I spoke to, the basic daily room fee changed 3 times proving my point of wanting a simple list in writing. I explained multiple times that Im not showing them my mother's assets without knowing what their fees are. What's protecting us from them just making up new fees when they see what she has? These people told me oh we wouldnt do that. Guess they thought I was stupid because I refused. I asked multiple times, why they would treat a self-pay patient like this. "That's just our policy." Scammy to say the least. ON WHAT PLANET does a facility not have a set fee list of services. They finally sent something over with TWO lines on it. Nothing speaking to what else would be needed on a day-to-day basis, just room fees. BOGUS. So again, I refused to send the application back, and they refused to accept my mother for even rehab. Insane!
