I had the opportunity to speak with Kiesha (Kie), who spent time explaining to me their COVID protocol (my inquiry) and experience. I scheduled my pre and post op visits from hip replacement with Kie and am incredibly grateful. She was very competent. She knew when to be gentle and listen to my requests and when i needed a little nudging. Building strength and flexibility after hip replacement was not an easy task, but with Kie on my side, I knew I would get back to baseline. I am most grateful for the care I received from Kie. I am also appreciative of all staff there who always greeted me with a kind hello and took care of my scheduling needs. I was bounced between different therapists, none of whom coordinated with each other or took responsibility for my care. For example, I would have wildly different exercises depending on who I saw and my at home exercises were never updated, despite making multiple requests. I unfortunately have a lot of experience receiving physical therapy for this injury and I made substantially less progress here than at other firms. In addition, despite booking out my appointments weeks in advance, the times and therapists were constantly changed at the last minute with zero notice, seemingly to accommodate new patients or just so the therapists could go home early. I never knew who I was going to see or what time my appointment would be until I got the reminder the night before or even that same day. This total lack of consideration for my schedule and time showed that they did not value me as a patient and I would never return or recommend their services.

From the moment I met her, she presented herself with a welcoming, kind, compassionate and calming presence. She truly listens and hears what your issues and concerns are! I had been diagnosed with a sprained rotator cuff, which was not only painful and limiting, but draining me of my energy! Although I love my primary care doc, his solution was to put me on heavy duty anti-inflammatory meds, which can be hard on your liver and have side-effects as well! I am not a stranger to acupuncture and was able to get an appt near where I live... I was fortunate enough to be seen by Laura.:) I had recently lost my husband, which Laura took into account with compassion, as well as my injury. I hope I am stating this correctly, but she explained that grieving can also contribute to the injury healing and that you hold grief in the left side of your body... the sprain is in my left side. Laura started with a 'clearing'... which I can only explain as "getting rid of my junk" ... I felt revived when leaving that day! I continued to see her for several more appts. I'm happy to say that my shoulder has improved 100% from when I had my first treatment, as well as other issues I had been having! Now for some gentle strengthening exercises. ;) I will continue to see Laura for monthly overall maintenance. I know there is more 'JUNK' to work on! ;) THANK YOU LAURA ROSE, you were, and are, a Godsend to me at a very difficult time in my life... Angels are watching over me! :)

When I had back pain recently, my doctor recommended physical therapy, I went back to Synergy. I am just as impressed now as I was six years ago. The staff is very pleasant. They care about your recovery. The quality of care is excellent. What I like most it that they stay with you while you are doing the exercises to make sure that you are doing them correctly. The office is very clean, and the equipment is up to date. Once I finish physical therapy for my back, I am going to start physical therapy for my ankle.

Following a stroke in 2009,…read moreI was referred to "Dr. G" by my primary care physician, I was away in Florida when the stroke occurred, so I was amazed when Dr. G. assured me that she would find the cause of the stroke (I had doubts, after all, 8 days had passed already)! Dr. G. ordered a TEE test and determined the stroke was to to a PFO (a small bypass hole in my heart that had not closed since birth and allowed a small clot to enter my brain). Following her direction, I was sent to a surgeon who was able to close the PFO with a device, called an Amplatzer, in order to prevent a clot from causing another stroke. Since that time, I have had routine follow-up appointments to monitor my progress to recovery. Dr.G is very popular, but her time and advice has made my life to recovery very happy.

I was a patient here for several weeks of neurological follow-up care and would not recommend this practice. Appointments felt rushed and impersonal, more like being moved through a checklist of tests than receiving actual medical review. It didn't feel like my records or imaging were reviewed closely before visits. On more than one occasion, I was told things about my results and condition that simply weren't accurate compared to what the actual reports showed -- whether that came from guessing, not reviewing the records, or something else, I can't say, but it wasn't reliable information. One report's clinical interpretation section was also left completely blank. Equipment issues added to the frustration -- testing machines broke down or malfunctioned during my visits, requiring restarts and delays without much explanation, which left me questioning the reliability of some of my results. If you ask questions or disagree with the assessment you're given, be prepared to be met with frustration and fear-based responses rather than an actual conversation. It didn't feel like I was allowed to think critically about or understand my own health -- it felt more like being dictated to than partnered with. Communication was frequently alarming and delivered without much nuance or context, which added unnecessary fear to an already difficult time, rather than the clear, evidence-based guidance I was hoping for. There was also a heavy presence of interns/students in and out of exam rooms, and the office itself felt disorganized and cluttered -- food left out in patient areas, unrelated promotional materials in the waiting area, and a general sense of a high-volume operation rather than a place built around careful, individualized care. Maybe this approach works for some patients, and if it does, I'm genuinely glad. But I've been fortunate to have excellent physicians throughout my life who actually cared, listened, and practiced in the spirit of the Hippocratic oath -- and this was not that. What I needed was a doctor who genuinely understood my situation and treated me with real care, not one who seemed to rely on fear to keep patients coming back. I ultimately sought a second opinion elsewhere and would encourage anyone considering this practice to do the same before committing to ongoing care here.
