At times we do feel rushed, but the kids do get their X-rays done and my kids have very healthy teeth. We also got my son off sucking his thumb from this practice in 2-3 months after sucking his thumb for almost 3 years. Pre-covid the waiting room and waiting area inside was fun with games and light walls, but now they are limited. They have a prize wall too, after the kids' appointment. The seating arrangement for cleaning and consult is mainly chairs in a circle in 1 large room, so hygienists and dentists can move around. There are a couple of closed-off rooms for multiple kids and run-over.

The orthodontic assistants were either new and inexperienced or experienced and rude. The length of treatment was greatly extended due to lack available appointments. The doctor would say 4 weeks, but no appointments available for 6/7 weeks. When that happened every time, treatment got extended by over a year. We regret not going to a smaller practice.

She got us checked in quickly and helped put us at ease. My son needed to be sedated through an IV for his dental procedure due to his sensory needs, and as any special needs parent knows, that can be incredibly overwhelming. Dr. Paris was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel judged. Because of my son's sensory challenges, brushing his teeth has always been a struggle. Unfortunately, he needed eight crowns and three extractions**. As a parent, it's easy to feel like you've somehow failed your child in moments like these, but not one person on this team made me feel ashamed or uncomfortable. Instead, they treated us with compassion, understanding, and genuine kindness. After the procedure, Cindy, the recovery nurse, was equally incredible. I'm a single mom and didn't have anyone with me that day. She was so patient, caring, and even helped me get my son safely to the car. That simple act of kindness meant more than she probably realizes.While no parent wants their child to have to go through a procedure like this, the level of compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care we received made all the difference. I have 5 reasons why I love this place. 1. Janell was awesome, she called to remind me to take my sedation pill. 2. They were nice to me and the team of folks that I brought in for support. 3. Dr. V and I had great conversation and he made me feel comfortable. 4. His assistant gave me the SPA treatment. I got headphones and a snuggly blanket as I wore my cool shades. 5. Did I mention I went to the dentist only to realize that it's just as comfortable as going to the SPA??? Well, this is the treatment that you get in Buford.
