As such I tried the Haddock but was quite disappointed in the portion size, mostly all batter. Also tried the clam strips which were dismal, pre made out of a bag and such a small portion. Fries were ok, nothing special and the coleslaw wasn't too my taste as well, very finely grated and such a small portion. So not a very good value, $17.00 for the Haddock and $12.00 for the clam strips. Probably the best option locally, but doesn't compare to many other fish and chip places around.

I explained it's raw. I can't eat it like this. If you can please cook this more. I didn't ask for another burger. I was being nice about it. He grumbled at me took it out back and with in two mins was back the the same burger that looked completely man handled and proceeds to tell me I was wrong, he cooked it right and it is cooked properly what I am seeing is ketchup. I am not an idiot. It was raw. Obviously there was no point to try and ask again. We just couldn't believe the lack of service and the even more lack of pride in what they do. I wish I would have taken a picture. Clearly red and raw. We both agreed it was a clear sign of how they run their business and will be sure to tell all our friends. There are a lot of chip trucks that respect their customers and have pride in the food they make. Stay clear of this place.

Fries, burgers, hot dogs... and all things we didn't need before noon. But when you're in rural Ontario and see a chip wagon, you go. Just go. We ordered small fries for $5.50, which could pass for a large elsewhere, and a Pickle Chips Poutine for $13.25. Staff were quick and friendly and we waited just 6 minutes for our order while the local crowd started to form a line. Some fries were a bit soggy for my liking, but overall good. Salt, pepper, malt vinegar (YES) and ketchup are at the order window. My plain fries needed salt - not a complaint! My guy's poutine was a massive portion with a good mound of cheese curds, decent beefy gravy, and topped with fried dill pickles. You have to try this combo! Take a seat at one of the 5 shaded picnic tables, and enjoy. We took most of ours to go and finish later. Took off a star because the only plant-based option is plain fries. Not even a burger! Tip 1: Go on a weekday before noon. Seems like the locals come for lunch at exactly 12:00! Tip 2: Bring cash. There's a $2 surcharge for any type of card payment, including debit.

My wife and I both ordered basic Philly cheesesteaks and poutine. We asked for the french fries in the poutine to be fried well done. We both had cheese on our Philly cheesesteaks and I loaded mine with hot peppers, pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomato. My wife did the same except no hot peppers. Both sandwiches, despite having flavourful toppings, tasted bland. The fries in the poutine were soggy, and the gravy,like the sandwich, was bland. My wife got a piece of meat that contained gristle. The price we paid for the two poutine and two sandwiches was $24. So, had we played full price it would've been $48 for a smallish sandwich and substandard poutine. Won't be going back.
