The owner, Corey is so professional and accommodating, he got me to speed on flying on U.S. National Airspace, he also helped me brush off some rust on my stick and rudder skills (its been 7 months since the last time I flew). It was a joy flying with him, the same with instructors Josh and Ken (Yo, shout out to you guys!). Ken whom by the way have more number of flight experience than you can shake a stick at! St. Louis Flight Training Center is nothing like some training center, here the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable - conducive to learning. Whenever I will be around St. Louis, I look forward to fly with them again, and so I will definitely recommend them. Came here at the end of my PPL journey expecting for a speedy finish and checkride sign off…read more Instead they required me to repeat most of my PPL training that I didn't need to do, milked thousands of dollars (and over six months of my time) from me in ground school and extra non-needed flights, plus I had to repeat a lesson if I didn't get a 100%. Discovered later that I was getting taught a lot of instrument and commercial bits that I DON'T NEED FOR A PPL CHECKRIDE!! There was not even one step forward while I was at this school. My instructor (Leahy, brand new instructor and super uptight about every lesson) wouldn't even sign my expired solo reendorsement. After getting fed up with them, I went to Saint Charles Flying Service. Right away they put me in a mock oral (both ground and flight). I instantly passed on the first go, quickly got signed off for the checkride, passed it and became a PPL within two weeks of going there. Wish I had found the non-money grabbing school sooner!
