She's now done solos in her school talent show and had principal roles in musical theatre shows. These camps are perfect for beginners who show an interest in music and want to give it a try. It's a full week of fun and some instruction, plus exposure to what it takes to get up on stage and perform with with band. A child who wants to play an instrument or sing should definitely experience this. It's an encouraging, energetic environment. Make sure you plan to attend the performance at the end of the week because it's a big deal to the kids. And get there early to get a seat because both years my daughter did the camp, it ended up being standing room only.

Her reports are pretty much always accurate, and even if they weren't I understand that things happen and the curriculum is subjected to change. I think people putting a 1- star review on every single social media platform should be a tad more lenient, but that's just me. It's not like the teachers sit around and do nothing all day. Anyhow, my daughter has learned SO much since going here, and has improved on so many different levels- especially regarding listening, spelling, and reading. I also love how they incorporate learning through science and art projects every single day. Our whole family loves Goddard!

I am thankful to send her to such a great place with positive attitudes, smiling faces and caring hearts each day! One thing I love is the teachers are committed to their Tadpole system which is an app that gives me a recap each day of what she is learning, how long she napped, how we are doing with potty training and BMs, and what she ate that day. It is so helpful in many ways. I know many schools have the ability, but may not always enter the information consistently. Goddard Fenton does an awesome job! I would highly recommend Goddard to anyone with children! We visited many schools before deciding and The Goddard School was by far the most friendly and cleanest!

As a behavior analyst, I was impressed with their skills with balancing rapport building and following through to push her. She was "that one" that was loud and screaming and no one was visibly bothered. Also before going I was skeptical of how much can really be done in 30 minutes with a small group of 3/4 year olds. I was also impressed with how quickly they move between children's turns, sharing attention with each one, and keeping the pace moving!

My daughter has gone off and on since she was five months. My son just started when he turned 2 months old. My daughter is very comfortable in the water and some of the thanks goes to the instructors here. I only wish she was actually learning safety measures. I've watched videos of children smaller than her tossed into a pool and able to back float or swim to safety. I'm sure some of this will come in due time but for the cost, more aggressive teaching would make me happier. I do however appreciate the warmth of the water and that it's not chlorine. That reeks havoc on black children's hair.
