Hot spring baths. Therapeutic!
Andres A.

I have been wanting to come to this place for quite some time. Many years ago I visited a similar place except it was just merely a concrete bath tub and not much to look at. Fast forward to today and the place now looks like a resort. To gain access you pay the small sum of $3.00. They have two hot spring pools to enjoy. According to the staff there; one pool is at about 75 degrees and the other is at about 100 degrees. We first took a shower then jumped into the 75 degree pool. It was quite pleasant. After soaking for about 10-15 minutes (they recommend you do no more than 15 minutes at a time) we decided to try the hotter pool. At first it is a bit uncomfortable but once you get accustomed it feels really good. Your muscles and joints really feel good. We went in and out for several times. The water, pools and grounds were impeccably kept. It felt like you were in a zen garden. By the way as you were there they play relaxing music which helped produce a great zen vibe. After relaxing for a while we then visited their concession stand which had great snacks-we opted for the lemonade and fresh fruit. It was delicious. At the concession stand they had bathrooms/changing rooms which were very clean and private. Oh by the way, I highly recommend you sign up for the massage. Where else can you get a massage where it is actually $1 a minute. We decided to get 20 minutes and it was the perfect way to end a wonderfully perfect day. Overall I really enjoyed this place and am glad to see how it has progressed I will definitely be back on my next visit.

I first came here in 2002 and it was a rinky dinky plane cement pool. Thought I would never come back. But I did and to my surprise its 100% better. The staff received use at the entrance and explains to use the use of the facilities and the layout of the area. They were very friendly. it has a quaint little gift shop and a small room for massages at a dollar a minute minimum 10. Thou we came during the day they are open till 7pm so you can also visit at night. Best of all its a government run facility and its only $3 to use.

Thermal outdoor spas.

Currently closed although advertised as open. We drove from San Juan for 1.5 hours to find that it was closed for renovation.
