Loved this pizza place so much. We came here the night of the Superbowl looking to grab some late night pizza, and were so impressed with how cute this place is. It's in what looks like an antique house, with lots of vintage decor and really decorative light fixtures. Service here was really top notch -- we were taken care of right away even though we were latecomers. We ordered a pizza to split, the Rosada, which was one of the best vodka pies I've ever had (and I'm from NYC). Food was incredibly well priced also. The restaurant is more like an old Italian home with different areas of seating for your choice of ambience... The decor is perfect and was very clean... The pizza!! We enjoyed the pepperoni with fresh pineapple (menu has ham, we changed it up)... Awesomeness is all I can say, my wife and I are both comparing our local pizza to what we had at Pirilo... This little gem in Dorado beach was a great find. The restaurant is an older house with a rustic feel; a casual environment perfect for a beach community. The service was excellent and prices fair. This place keeps getting better and better. Salad and pizza were EXCELLENT! Mojito, sangria and a Christmas beer that was ok. The ambience is everything here. It is the perfect for dates, or for a gathering with friends. Service was excellent as well. I'd say the only downfall was the amount of mosquitoes and the two guys who now sit by the entrance to the back parking lot. They were pushing us to do valet. When we stood our ground they did not let us park in the multiple available spots in front of the main entrance, we had to turn back and park outside their gate. The restaurant four tables in use. January 1st and we wanted to spend the day out of the house. We were going sightseeing around the island, but it was raining. So instead we decided to have lunch at the nearest restaurant. We were a group of 10 people and baby so walking in was going to be a huge wait. Thankfully I has been made a reservation for 30 minutes ahead in the app because they were not picking up the phone. once we arrived because of the reservation, we were seated quickly, we had a great table for all of us and for the stroller to be comfortable. Our servers got our drink and food menu pretty quickly. We changed one of the plates of our order being instead of skirt steak to Pizza. Thankfully, they were able to change our order. The food did take a while. I would say like 30 minutes or a little bit more or even an hour. But the restaurant was packed because it was January 1 so we didn't mind because we were just all having a good time The octopus with potatoes were spectacular if the plate was bigger that would've been my dinner. The pizza was good, but there were some of the parts that didn't have enough ground beef so the portion wasn't the greatest but the mix of ground beef and fried sweet plantains on a pizza was mind blowing. The skirt steak was really really good cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I hate to admit that I did not like the rice at all. It was very dry and it did not taste like a Puerto Rican mampo rice. It was my sister-in-law's birthday celebration as well so I asked the server to bring some desserts and sing her surprise HBD, which they did really good at keeping a secret. Everyone in the table was surprised when they came, and the dessert was really good. I didn't love the ice cream but the chocolate chip cookie was spectacular even though I would've preferred it warm, but it was so nice. One thing that I loved about this particular restaurant is that right beside them they have a great coffee shop and you can order delivery from the coffee shop to the pizza restaurant. Service was meh - We came on Wednesday night, apparently they did not like we were there 15 mins early, there were not enough silverware for all the tables even though it was not packed, so we got plastic, and we also we waited more than 15 mins to get water for the table. This location is a fail. The service is slow and inattentive. The French fries were a soggy mess and the lazitos were undercooked (raw dough in the knots). The pizza fell apart--there was no way to pick up a slice. It was so thin and soggy in the middle and super thick at the crust. Stick to the Old San Juan location or Ocean Park. So like I have been to all of the other locations and this was my first time coming to their Gerardo location and oh my God I loved the location the decor is amazing the staff is very welcoming you walk in and you feel like you're going to someone's house for dinner it's very warm and inviting like I just could not get enough fat how amazing the place was the pizza was good they have a lot of stuff on their menu I have yet to decide on which one is my favorite but I would definitely recommend read more

We had a babyshower celebration this past week and everything was perfect , the tables got reserved exactly as we requested , the staff was patient as we decorated and the guest got there , somewhere around 25 people got served and attended without any complains , simply wonderful, the food we have always been a fan we always recommend the "Pirilos Pizza" a blend of sweet plantain meat and cheese and for appetizers "lacitos" wonderful , our server was lovely as well we wish we remembered her name but overall staff was very friendly and attentive. 5 stars well deserved. You can go to any other pizzeria and get seated without a handful of rudeness and attitude. Pirilo's at Old San Juan and Condado have better service, and you don't need a reservation. Because yes, they ask for reservations at the Dorado location....a pizzeria with reservations...wtf! 0 stars to this location. Pirilo's Dorado is operated from a beautiful nostalgically decorated traditional country "home". Their pizzas are delicious. Our favorite is the Mucho Mushroom pizza, which is just perfectly combined with their traditional mojito or a cold beer. Is the trip worth it? You bet it is! read more

Do yourself a favor and get the mushroom pizza and the ensalada geneoveva. Stopped at this place with our friends who are local Puerto Rican's and so glad we did! When we drove past a few days before we wrote it off because the outside wasn't eye catching, but the inside is amazing. It's an old home and they have kept the character of it all. Do not miss out on this place! We also ordered a couple of days later for takeout. We found 2 phone numbers and after the first was busy we called the other. I believe it was the owner's cell phone.
