They also have a kids menu and cater for parties. They seem to host birthday parties for both kids and adults too, and it looks like a great place for that with amount of activities available and it's not too pricy either. Each bowling lane can have up to 6 people and you pay per lane per half hour (€15) or one hour(€25) as opposed to per person. We're students so we paid the student rate of €20 per hour. I also noticed that they run some fitness classes like pilates, barre, kettle bells and even Taekwondo! Overall the place was clean, well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Activate is a great place for entertainment in general.

This is the place that taught me, in retrospect, some of the worst lessons of my life. It was here…read morefor example that I learned to like Bob Marley, and Christy Moore, and hanging out at Dart Stations . Thankfully, due to extensive rehabilitation I have almost fully recovered from these terrible afflictions. Bray Bowl has a multi-lane bowling alley and a large video-games arcade downstairs, and a pool hall upstairs. Given that it's an arcade, and a pool hall, in Bray, beside a Dart station, you can probably guess that the clientele are a little rough, but I never had any trouble. If you like playing pool there are few halls as good as this and a game of dance-dance revolution never disappoints.

Everyone in secondary school who was cool used to come here on the weekends for a while, it was the cool thing to do! then it got boring and we stopped going, they introduced an entrance fee, we realised the food wasn't nice and the bowling went up a bit in price. this wasn't our dream hang out spot anymore. its still a grand spot for a spot of bowling and i have gone back quite a few times but i have only ever indulged in the bowling. I have had a great time to be honest. Bowling isn't something i do regularly so i always have a good time when i go

This is stuff great childhood memories are made of. Fantastic. Now I've not had the chance to get into the water here, but it looks pretty good to me.... as long as I have my wet suit ;) There are great facilities here too, a car park, lifeguards during the summer months and decent enough toilets WITH toilet paper. I would imagine the toilets are abused on busy days... sorry that's the cynic in me, so BYOP. The notice board here is full of useful information also, including info to a website called www.jellyfish.ie. Who knew that existed, I didn't :) There is also a but... the south car park costs 4 EUR to get into. OK, so the money goes towards the car park, the lifeguard and the toilet maintenance. But I do think this is a bit steep if you are just dropping in for a look. But if you are going for the whole day, its fine. FYI the car park gates are unmanned and take coins, so make sure you have the right coinage with you before to depart for Brittas Bay. Also, the south car park closes at 8pm according to signs.

A little warning though that it is not for people sensitive with hunting as you will see small chicks (already dead though) being eaten for a small part of the experience... the young fellas that were in my group loved that part !
