What a fun, cool, nostalgic place to go. My hubs and I have been married for 38 years...and we've…read morenever gone to a drive-in in all of that time. Not since we were in high school...and that was with different dates. lol We were celebrating my birthday weekend and saw that Delta had this theater. We were giddy! They were showing Empire Strikes Back...which happens to be my husband's favorite Star Wars movie (yes, I was a good wife and gave in...but it was no sacrifice, believe me. I love the movie, too!) The very coolest thing was that, now and then during the evening, he and I would see shooting stars in the sky...plus, the very starry night of that dry area made the screen feel like it had no edge when the "outer space" scenes were happening. It was rather surreal, but a total blast! We felt like teenagers! The only problem with us particularly was, the speaker they provided cut in and out a lot during the movie. Yes, you have a radio station that you can tune into to get the audio, but our newer keyless, push-button-started car would power down after a bit to save the battery. So we tried to rely just on the drive-in speaker (which was also cool, cuz it added to the experience.) When the hubs ran back to the snack bar to let them know about the speaker, they gave us a little portable am/fm radio to use...and it was perfect!! (Gotta give them a valid I.D. in order for them to let you use the radio.) Overall, it was a BLAST!! And it was well attended as well...probably about 50 cars. Our movie started at 7:45 pm, but the gates opened at 7. When we got there, we were third in line and cars started lining up behind us quite soon thereafter. So if you want your pick of spots, get there a little bit before the gate opens. And be nice to the ticket seller lady...she kinda acts like she's been working there these many decades the theater has been open. :-)

The nostalgia alone is worth going! We went last night for the first time since the new owners took…read moreover. The popcorn was good and the drinks of course and candy... We didn't particularly like the hamburgers or the pizza. I wish they would fix the speakers because we couldn't get the app to work and I couldn't get the radio station to come in on my phone. We didn't turn on the radio in the truck because it didn't have a back window and we didn't know if we could hear it. We should've checked out a radio from the concession stand to use, but we didn't. But that is a really cool option that they have. The prices are great, and all of the staff members were super friendly and helpful.

Decent food bad service. We stopped by for lunch and the waitress took our drink order and once we…read morereceived our drink order she took 30 minutes to take our lunch order.....after she took our lunch order 30 minutes later she asked "have y'all eaten yet?" Really you can't remember if we've eaten yet?! We hadn't even received our food!!!!! So I said no and she says ok I will check on it after not letting us know what is going on with our food I had to go find her and ask her what is going on. We will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

What a cool place - an art gallery and a cafe! With the exception of the cafe, it's a moderately classy place in a very small, very rural town on Colorado's Western Slope. If you are touring Colorado or just passing through, this is one place that you should stop by. Put it on your 'To Do' list. If you live in the area but have never been in, take the time to pay a visit, grab a latte at the cafe and parous the maze of creative works. You will definitely come away with a taste of The West.

And she is a really great intro to this line growing area. Very knowledgeable about not only the Vineyards and the Wines, but of local places to go and eat. We set out under a nice shade tree. Extremely hot one. We were there but she was very accommodating. Probably one of the top three wineries for tasting in the area. You do have to pay for the tastings but it's well worth it. Ambience is wonderful. Even though this is not a historical place. The little Stone house is cool. Even though most of the time you're outside.
