It is packed with a multitude of vintage items -- many clothes, but also mirrors, dolls ,photographs and furniture. All items are beautifully arranged in a decorative display, so it is like walking through a museum. The clothing comes in many eras, mostly 1960s and beyond from what I could see, and many things are very co,orful with unique, eye-poppimg designs. There are a few new items like tee shirts, which h are great for casual wear. There is some costume jewelry as well- lots of necklaces. Browsing here is quite enjoyable. There was a line at 9am and we decided to come back at 10am. We were told by a local to get their morning buns and deli sandwiches. I wish we went to 9am because when we came back, they were all sold out of the morning buns! We didn't get their sandwiches because we were heading to lunch afterwards. Unfortunately they are closed the next day (on Sundays and Mondays). We did get their focaccia to go and it was so delicious. We also got their chocolate chip cookies and bran muffin. All yum!

Steve, the proprietor, is very helpful and really knows his business. He also performs lamp repair and sells vintage style new lamp shades, too. Some buildings rock the confederate flag but in the case of Hein & Co., your book experience also includes a side of racism. But absolutely horrendous service if i could give 0 stars I would , So I…read morewent in here with my dad and my boyfriend and me and my boyfriend where looking around in a different area than my dad, we were looking at the stickers and laughing at them because they were cute little dog stickers and I might have bought one if the lady weren't so outright rude and racist, but when me and my boyfriend were done looking at the sticker we started walking back over to my dad and this old decrepit white woman comes from behind the counter and says "can I ask if you put a sticker in your bag" (my boyfriend is holding a bag from a previous store we went to btw) I was so shocked like are fucking kidding me, my boyfriend is nice and said yeah sure and pulls everything out of our bag which only had my clothes in just bought. But after that experience I left so fast. Don't go here it's a joke.
