They treat their customers horrible. The quality of the product is the lowest of lows. They make promises they don't keep. Doug will lie about everything. They give you a price then they want to raise it at the end. We did background check on Doug the owner. He has done some shady, shady things in this business. Our cabin was supposed to be done June 2021, here it is the end of January 2022 we still have no heat/air, no plumbing. We didn't get steps for the porch. No one knew how to build the inside of the cabin the way we had Doug draw out the plans. There is nothing in this cabin the way we wanted it done. The inside doors were hung upside down. The floors were laid in the wrong direction. The dormers were redone 3 times. The trim on the inside was done wrong. The stairs were redone 2 times. Everyone that works at this place will lie to you. I didn't get the kitchen cabinets I wanted, even though I was told three times that the cabinets I wanted were in and nothing to worry about. I had to buy my own flooring and kitchen sink and faucet after I had already paid for those things and ordered them from this company. They just put in the cheapest kitchen cabinets they had on hand. They would tell us that they were going to be at the build site, we would drive an hour to meet up with them and wait for hours just for them to not to show up or call to say they are not going to be there. This has been the most horrific ordeal my husband and I have ever had to deal with. It has cost us thousands of dollars that it should not have cost us. I could go on and on about what a horrible job they have done. I have shed so many tears and sleepless nights over this. This should have been a wonderful experience! Yet it turned into a horrible, horrific ordeal. I just don't want anyone else to get ripped off the way we and others have been done. Please just save yourself the money and heartache that we have been through and go elsewhere.

I was lied to about an advertising budget, I was lied on about the hours I put in the office, what bothered me most is I was lied to about days and times of deliveries to customers waiting on there buildings. Now my current situation is I am without my last paycheck and I can't get them to give me a straight answer on anything. If you ever call to get an answer from the operations manager he is always in meetings. Very disappointed I was not a failed employee either every month I worked there I lead the sales board except for the last month that I left. None of this is a surprise I have confronted all 3 owners on these matters. All agreed with me they would do better and live up to their end but wouldn't do it. Nikki, from JM Ridgway, was rude and unprofessional in every communication even stating she would have other schedulers from other companies to blacklist me if I continued trying to get paid. After receiving Nikki's email, I started contacting Storage of America directly. I contacted headquarters and was hung up on. Called the location and the manager was supposed to have the district manager to call me. I have yet to receive a call back. I need to talk to someone at your location to get paid.

When I expressed my displeasure, she threatened to cancel BOTH contracts with no refund and she threatened to call the police. This is unbelievable!!! She told me two 10 X 15 units, I signed a contract for two 10 X 15 units, and then she tells me there is only one unit available and REFUSES to refund my money.

I took it back to Harbor freight and they told me in London KY that since the box was opened that there would be a restocking fee of $40! I told them that this was a defected item right out of the box and he told me that since I opened the box that there would be a restocking fee! Horrible horrible customer service experience. Charged me $40 to bring back their defected item. That tells me that Harbor freight in London KY makes money even if they stuff they sell is junk and they don't care!! I kept telling him that it was defected that the lines were kinked and they were not repairable he didn't even look at the damage. He could care less, $40 to the "restock". Now I wonder if they're going to literally restock it and do this to the next customer
