All the vendors are super friendly and love to make conversation! Great way to spend a morning! The ambiance is very quaint and friendly! Overall a great atmosphere and way to buy. Will come here for certain vegetables and lunch when I'm in the city

Thank you for the recommendation, Fodor's! (yes, I bought their travel guide like a true tourist.)…read more My friends and I wanted to try some Ireland oysters because we heard they were supposedly super fresh. We were running out of time on our hunt to find them when I realized, 'I've got my trusty guidebook!!' And that's how we ended up here. It was 12 Euros for 6 oysters and a glass of wine. Since there were four of us, the lady was nice enough to give us 4 cups of wine (yes, plastic cups - it's a farmer's market, what do you expect!) They even threw in an extra oyster! SO FRESH! SO BIG! (cue that's-what-she-said joke). Compared to NYC oysters, these babies looked like they were on steroids! They also have this dipping sauce (had onions and was really vinegar-y, but good. But if you don't like the sour, you should just take the oyster straight.) Didn't eat anything else from other stands because we just had lunch. However, I believe they had shish kebabs, crepes, and bread. Oh and FYI - Sheridans Cheesemongers was there (saw this place on Anthony Bourdain when he went to Dublin so thought this might be worth mentioning). Definitely check out this farmer's market!

Living a porkless lifestyle, Shop Easi is my go-to place for alternatives in a pig-heavy country…read morewith a pigivore boyfriend. Most of the salamis and such that we buy, he says he can't tell the difference between them and the real thing. Being an adventurous eater, it's also my go-to for new tastes! From turkey rashers to mango cream biscuits, I always find something new when I go there. I love food from those regions of the world- Shop Easi stocks stuff all the way from Thailand to the Middle East though focusing heavily on India and westwards. The prices are quite low, too. Nearly every time I go in, I try a different drink from the cooler. The ginger beer's a favourite so far. In a neighbourhood where halal shops are a dime a dozen, Shop Easi is the biggest, and as far as I can tell has the best selection. The one exception might be the fruit and veg- it often looks fresher or riper in the place across the street next to the post office. Now's the time of year when mangoes are in season- go get a great deal on a big box of yellow "honey" mangoes. They're gorgeously sweet and will win you people's hearts in an instant. Yum!

The funny thing when I realised what had happened the second time because I checked the bag in my car (due to the previous incidence) and I went back complaining he just laughed off and went back and got me fresh ones!! These people should realise the competition from other shops out there and start respecting their customers. Thumb down Easi Shop

As I went down the escalator, it stunk of some sort of smell I could not describe.. I rolled this off and decided to continue my journey.. as I walked in, I was curious to try their Lithuanian cuisine and had a meal. It was awful.. I couldn't finish it and I knew I'd get food poisoning. Post update, I did. Felt as if people were staring and following me. Felt like I had 10 heads! Went to the polish supermarket was complete and utterly shocking. Rude staff and place stunk of everything under the sun. Won't be going back. Went to a shop filled with designer fakes.. tacky is an understatement. They also sold cheap synthetic wigs. Lady there told me it was real hair. Multiple bugs and spillage across the floor.. people shouting obscenities across the hallway. Felt like I was in a different world. Won't be going back again. Go here if you want to suffer with food poisining and the shits.

Whether you're after Lithuanian treats or an Indian outfit, this place should be your first port of call. Unfortunately, it's looking a bit bare recently, and the vibrancy is less, well, vibrant, but it remains a cool place to go down into and have a nose around...you never know what you may find! With an eclectic mix of shops, and a truly multicultural flavour, this shopping centre has its finger on the pulse of the swiftly-emerging new Ireland, replete with the intermingling of people from all over the world, as well as those desperate for a little taste of home
