Always good food the AàAwait staff have always been friendly and helpful. It's now my son's favorite pizzeria in Jersey everytime we come to visit we have to go there. Galde to see there have evolved the menu but kept my favorites The American hot and the now called Jersey garlic bread. Only place to have a Peroni beer for a long time in Jersey. The daily specials menu on the wall was not filled out. Cardboard packaging of glasses piled up again the wall. An A4 size printer on a shelf on the wall (for whatever reason). A cheap looking Venice painting on the wall. French-wine wallpaper (why French in an Italian restaurant?). Red britisch pub style carpet. When walking inside the first impression is that of stagnant air, perhaps sweaty body smell is a good discription. The staff was super friendly though. That's what makes it two stars rather then two. Also, I was told some of the vegetables are home grown on the island.

I grew up in St Brelade and used to come here all the time as a teenager, so it was lovely to come back again during my last visit. The staff were friendly and the pizzas always taste fresh. The duo romana is a great way to get pizza as we both enjoy different flavours. They have really nice salads and I love their options for mini desserts with coffee! Lovely location for date night or family night.

I very don't eat out as much as I would like as I too often end up sick as so many foods have onion powder in them, or something of the sort, and that the Chefs sometimes forgets to take out. Not this time - in fact, I think you're one of the first restaurant in Guernsey to ever make me food with enough care that caused me not to have an allergic reaction what-so-ever.. Clare had the calamari (reformed/frozen), lamb (amazing!!) and ginger cheesecake (ultra sweet). All you could taste was ginger and I bit of sugar. We ordered a cider, we got a soda (see what they did there?). All in all service was a little slow but the restaurant is cavenous and they have a lot of mouths to feed and a lot of people to keep happy, so I guess it's what they do here. I dare say if you hit this place when it's quiet, and order the right thing, it's an outstanding meal. Unfortunately we weren't massively impressed and probably won't return.
