The daily specials menu on the wall was not filled out. Cardboard packaging of glasses piled up again the wall. An A4 size printer on a shelf on the wall (for whatever reason). A cheap looking Venice painting on the wall. French-wine wallpaper (why French in an Italian restaurant?). Red britisch pub style carpet. When walking inside the first impression is that of stagnant air, perhaps sweaty body smell is a good discription. The staff was super friendly though. That's what makes it two stars rather then two. Also, I was told some of the vegetables are home grown on the island.

I grew up in St Brelade and used to come here all the time as a teenager, so it was lovely to come back again during my last visit. The staff were friendly and the pizzas always taste fresh. The duo romana is a great way to get pizza as we both enjoy different flavours. They have really nice salads and I love their options for mini desserts with coffee! Lovely location for date night or family night.

Not this time - in fact, I think you're one of the first restaurant in Guernsey to ever make me food with enough care that caused me not to have an allergic reaction what-so-ever.. Clare had the calamari (reformed/frozen), lamb (amazing!!) and ginger cheesecake (ultra sweet). All you could taste was ginger and I bit of sugar. We ordered a cider, we got a soda (see what they did there?). All in all service was a little slow but the restaurant is cavenous and they have a lot of mouths to feed and a lot of people to keep happy, so I guess it's what they do here. I dare say if you hit this place when it's quiet, and order the right thing, it's an outstanding meal. Unfortunately we weren't massively impressed and probably won't return.

this place is an absolute joke and im actualy begging you not to ever go here. my girlfriend and i…read moreordered a take away last sunday. was quoted an hours delivery on the phone but it ended up being over 40 minutes late. in the hope that i thought they must of been busy due to excellant food, i couldnt have been more wrong. firstly my girl friends so called thai food smelt like cabbage and after 2 mouthfuls it was binned. i ordered a pizza and i can honestly say not one bit of the base or crust was crispy it was just soaked into the carboard box it came in. the chicken satay sticks i oredered turned out to be just small lumps of chicken thrown in a box wiv horrible greasy sauce poured over. next to my horror we found theyd forgotton to bring out canned drinks. i had to ring back and complain.i then waited another half hour for these and in the end had to ring up and say to leave them in the inside of my door cos i was so tired and wanted to go to bed. next day i woke up and seen id been charged £2 for the drinks yet the second reciept said they should of been £1.80.......you work that one out....id rather eat out of a bin then go here again ...please please dont let anyone tell you different. i dont actualy want to reward them with a star but seems you have to atleast mark with one....o dear
