I will start by saying the look of this place is so cute and I love the style of the patio. I spent many mornings enjoying a latte and reading a book while I was visiting family. The coffee here is pretty good, nothing crazy fancy but its good coffee. One Sunday night we had been struggling to find a place that was open and since I had really enjoyed my mornings here we thought we would give dinner a try. This was a huge mistake. The food was tasteless and cold. We ordered the chicken burger and chicken parmigiana. The chicken burger was cold and dry, the only hint of flavour came from the cheese and bacon I added but even that was subtle. The chicken parm was not actually chicken parm. its supposed to be chicken, sauce, cheese, and spices in the order. This was a soggy, cold chicken with crusty cheese melted on top over watery pasta. Not only did it have no flavour but it gave my father food poisoning. We had all eaten the same food for the past 2 days (as we had been eating all meals home cooked with family and this was the only time we had different meals. My father was sick for days which did not make for a very good trip for him. Please don't eat the food here but if you have to, just make sure its cooked properly. Finally, we was two hungry patrons who after the fourth restaurant bar we were near giving up and heading to M&S to grab a sandwich cause that looked like our last option.. We stumbled across this and when they told us that lunch has finished and we should get out food very quickly jumped at that chance and quickly sat down and ordered.. I finally got my seafood I do wanted in the form of mussels which was cooked lovely or was I that hungry cause we didn't chat.. Just ate.. I must say people must be very laid back in the channel Islands cause they didn't seems at least in a rush... Which of we both weren't starving I might appreciate it! We devour our food quickly and my friend fish pie was just as yummy as my mussel.. There were lots of other delightful eateries but our timing just wasn't working out for us.. We do have a couple pm our list to go back for a visit. read more

Stopped in for a snack. Service a bit slow but friendly. Croque Monsieur was fair.
