I had to pay $1,200 out of pocket despite being told my insurance would cover it when I asked directly. I want to ensure they are aware my invoice was paid so I left a message for Holly Smith in accounting. No response, no return call. I left 2 more messages over a period of time, begging someone to call me back, still no response. I emailed them on Facebook, no response. When you call the office it is impossible to get a live person. I have yet to receive any response to my multiple messages and I am beyond frustrated. Maybe this one star review will finally get someone's attention. I will not be back to this office, their customer service is non-existent.

I called to cancel my…read moreappointment (yes it was short notice) today due to being sick with a contagious airborne virus - strep throat. She has the audacity to ask me if I knew I was sick yesterday and why I didn't cancel sooner. I get that ideally she would want a longer notice. However, I felt fine yesterday and went to urgent care on my lunch today for the sore throat and got the diagnosis. She got snotty with me on the phone, even after explaining all of this (when she should be thanking me for not spreading my germs) and completely lost my business. Bottom line - She *might* be good at skincare, but she IS NOT professional. *Edited to add... Terri sent me a text at 9:45pm to let me know that she would try to rebut this review. This further solidifies just how unprofessional she is. She had my email and could have reached out to me there. Again, there is NO defense for her unprofessionalism in the way she handled my situation. As previously stated, she jumped down my throat when I told her why I cancelled. She admitted, THERE IS NO CANCELLATION POILCY. I told her I could still show up, but figured she did not want my germs, and she agreed. Have a nice life, Terri.

I just moved to Charlotte and I was looking for a reputable, professional med spa. I have had…read moreseveral VI peels over the years from others. After receiving the same peel from Terri, I received burns on my face, This had NEVER happened to me before. When I finally got a hold of her, her response after yelling at me that I ruined her day off was that I was neurotic because my husband is much younger than me??? Unprofessional Kind ? There was nothing kind about Terri's response. On Saturday, I called her for advice at 8:45am. She did not return my call until 1pm. At that point, I had already been to the doctor who informed me that I had a chemical burn that needed to be treated. I did not return Terri's call because her voicemail did not voice any concern for me what so ever (even after I sent her the pictures), and in fact she told me to "stop googling things on the internet" that I had superficial burns. Again, I have had this procedure done many times in the past with NO burns on my skin, just peeling. Now, I have to hope that these burns heal and do not leave a scar. As for unkind words, I finally called Terri back and I was appauled when I was told that I "ruined her day off" and now her Sunday, and proceeded to tell me I was overreacting because I married younger man and I am insecure ? really? Look at the pictures, I was burned and she could not take a step back beyond her own ego to even apologize or offer any help. I really do not want this to happen to anyone else, and that is why I am taking the time out to respond.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:…read more This review is intended for PA Natasha Rudd, at the 2630 E. 7th St location. I have not met, or had any interaction with Dr. Slaughter. Unfortunately there isn't an official Yelp page for the 7th St location. Fortunately for me I received a referral from a co-worker to see PA Rudd. I can't begin to tell you how good she is at her job, but i'll try. Initially I was nervous because I had two dermatologist in Charlotte prior, and they both suffered from the same assembly line style rushed consultation and appointments. I would sit there after waiting however long, and when I was finally seen I never felt comfortable or understood. My questions would often go unanswered just from the sheer quickness of the checklist style in and out from the doctor. Ultimately I always felt like I was wasting my time, and money...but on to the good news. Immediately Natasha comes in with open ears, and a world of knowledge. I had several questions, some I tried to answer for myself by doing research. Not just the wbMD quick google search, but a "deep dive". Natasha quickly debunked any and all misinformation I had gotten off the internet, or even through past dermatologist. She presented me with facts, but also several solutions. I can't recommend this location enough. Your time will be maximized, your knowledge of skin care, and how to feel confidence in using the right products at home will grow. Pro tip: Bring your daily routine products with you. Don't rely on influencers, or the vast landscape of the internet to approve your products. Utilize one of Charlotte's brightest minds, who is more than willing to get you the right answer.
