as a ex employee, the manager does not know how too manage. he also says that he is serv safe, and that he has done all of the training with the food in the acorn cafe, but there are no certificates that are placed on the walls anywhere that he is. he also doesn't wear any gloves while making ANY of the food. he was wiping his nose while making the food with NO gloves on, and even continued too make it. read more

Rude and arrogant management and poor customer service . They have gone to charging you money if you just want to stand near the court at practice ! Complete disregard for athlete wellness by squeezing customers for money during busy tournaments where they have dirty bathrooms, drinking fountains that don't work, and an understaffed and poorly stocked "cafe" that No outside food or drink allowed at massive tournaments. We have been to lots of sporting events at many facilities for many years and this facility is easily the worst in regards to customer care . I do not recommend that any community sports group use them and it looks like none have - they have all fled . This "facility" is an embarrassment to the area. It might be pretty on the outside, but its greedy, thoughtless business model is egregiously out of touch with the needs of athletes, coaches, parents and caregivers. To charge a $5 fee per person to simply watch a child's practice is outrageous. To not allow outside food or sports drinks is irresponsible , especially when the café options do not include all dietary needs. worst policy. We were there for a volleyball tournament. They have a no outside food or drink policy. These tournaments last 8-12 hours. You can only buy their food which is overpriced and not very good. Some of the girls don't have the funds to buy their food. These girls are athletes and need better food choices. Fresh fruit, vegi, protein. most places have this policy for spectators but not the athletes. Some girls from other teams snuck food in and while the girls were playing security went around and took their food. I was shocked that they did this when no one was around instead of reminding the teen girls about the policy and asking them to remove the food. read more

I write this review hoping that it drives some improvement because this place has so much awesome potential and I used to love coming here. It is very very poorly managed. They have a policy to not bounce balls off the walls of the gym where they play basketball and volleyball because it knocks the pictures off the walls on the other side. Maybe they should take those pictures down? They kick you out early so the staff can go home when it closes. The prices keep rising while the hours and service decline. Floors are not swept making it dangerous and very slippery. I really hope someone takes over actually cares about the patrons. They really want to cater only to the club sports. Maybe that is the right business decision? For now I'm cancelling my membership. I'll keep an eye out for new management because it is a really awesome facility!! read more

I went with high hopes to have a Covid safe experience working out, I was so disappointed to find large numbers of people not wearing masks. The travel baseball program is a complete waste of time and money. If you think your kids will learn new skills from these coaches, think again. If you think you will get what you're promised via the contract, practices, games etc etc, think again. This year has been a complete loss for my son and for myself. He didn't gain anything this year or build on his skills. We had incompetent coaching that led to the facility firing all but one coach including the director of the baseball program. Now that one coach is in charge of the baseball program. They had a coach they didn't even know was coaching these kids. Another coach was double dipping to pay for the coach the facility had no idea was coaching these kids. What a disaster of a program, Sharon, has here at Pinnacle. Maybe they need to replace her since she is the one responsible for all the hiring of this incompetent baseball program. After the disaster of a year we had as players and parents, Sharon, Director of Pinnacle, would compensate all players and parents affected by her erroneous mistakes. Nope. After her meeting with the owner, Dan, they decided just to move on and proceeded to say, if your child wants to tryout for the Pinnacle traveling team, I'm directing all calls to the new director of baseball. WHAT A JOKE!!! I respectfully declined and after a burst of laughter came out. I told her, why would I let Pinnacle steal my money again to get promised nothing but lies. When I dropped my daughter off at her lacrosse game, I was shocked to see that parents weren't allowed to watch their children. Furthermore, the price was not the same for everyone. The price for adults is 7 dollars which is okay if they just want to enter for exercise or walking not for watching their kids' games. It is absurd and greedy to charge children under the age of 12 and senior citizens who don't earn a living. In my opinion, it is very degrading and greedy of the management to decide the cost of the entrance for the parents of children's games on Sundays. As a member of Total Sports Experience and Athletic Campus, in the Brighton area, they welcome us at no charge. I have never seen that before. What a huge shame!! read more

Great physical facility but the organization itself is what I can only describe as miserable. Hopelessly disorganized, poor communication, and lack of commitment (backing out of Catalyst Games on short notice, really?!) explain why it's generally underutilized. I have tried on multiple occasions to drop in for pickup sports (soccer) after calling ahead only to find out that no one goes, or it's changed nights with no notice, etc. It's really too bad because it could potentially fill a void in the community but clearly a VERY long way to go to get it together. read more

Seems like complete greed to ask parents (and siblings) of kids playing in a league to pay $7 each to simply watch their game. We paid a healthy enrollment fee for our kid to participate in this league - I assumed this was to cover the cost of the use of the facility. To show up and be told that we have to pay an additional fee to be a spectator EVERY WEEK is in poor taste. For 2 parents to watch a child over 10 games, it would cost more than the original enrollment fee to participate in the league. Way to promote a family-focused facility guys. I visit this Athletic Campus regularly as a volleyball coach. We often play in tournaments here. Pros: - So. Much. Parking! Some of the venues we go to, there are not enough spots for all parents and coaches to park. This venue had so many parking spots that we did not have to worry about not finding one - Food on site. Not only do they have breakfast and lunch options - but good ones! They have muffins and bagels if you want something simple and wraps and sandwiches if you want something heavier. They also have fridges with any drink you could need. One thing I really enjoyed was that they had stuff pre-made for efficiency reasons but were able to make special order items if you requested. - Friendly staff. Everyone was very nice and willing to answer any questions. Cons: - No Athletic Trainer on site. This really disappointed me. One of my girls got injured during the tournament and they did not have anyone available to evaluate her. That is unusual for tournaments. read more

Due to terrible communication and management my daughters 12u softball team is left out of a tournament this weekend. Our coach signed up and filed all the paperwork back in January. Corporate greed/mismanagement mar the fantastic staff/instructors Why you shouldn't get a membership right now: *They CLOSE shower facilities during peak times (and after classes) for sports events, *They cut/change class schedule changes due to a recent uptick in employee turnover *They overbook the facility - you won't have access to the basketball courts at night Pinnacle management either doesn't listen to employee/member feedback or care more about booking the facility for more money (I don't know which is worse). It is clear that the management doesn't care about members and doesn't take constructive criticism. At the least, they could easily reschedule classes so they don't conflict with when they close down the locker rooms. OTHER CONS: *Not as many treadmills/equipment as other gyms such as Planet Fitness. *The Wi-Fi is practically unusable now. *Not open at night. *More expensive than budget gyms, at $45/month for full access ($25 for the courts/fields?) PROS: *Incredible fitness classes that push you at the appropriate level. *Classes often feel like 1-on-1 training sessions with great instructors -Instructors are the biggest draw to the gym - some are that good! *Lots of space in off-peak times. Why you should listen to me: *I've been a member since May 2016 *I've attended at least 200 fitness classes, *I've run at least 100 miles on their track, *I play basketball about once a week. read more

A great facility with good fitness classes. However, a very poorly run business. Upon initially signing up they had the wrong details for my credit card but didn't inform me for 4 months. Then, they charged my card one large amount for the 4 months without notice. They have also stopped honoring their new member grand opening agreement (signing up under a charter rate, never to change). My membership fee went up 85% a month. Perhaps a gradual smaller increase would have been more tolerated. I also know several staff members who, too, tell me how mismanaged this gym is. Very disappointed in the owner/manager of the facility. During a volleyball tournament, my daughter was refused access to the restroom even though she paid to participate in the tournament. My daughter was told by the manager/owner that it was a liability for her company to allow her to use the restroom without a membership. When I found out about this incident, I went in to speak with the owner/manager and never received a call back. Very poor customer service! read more

Let's start with The Pros: 1. Great Facility! Tons of potential. Now for the Cons (And there are many): 1. Group X classes get canceled at the last minute and management does not notify members. 2. Instructors get paid a slave wage and are not compensated for what they are worth. 3. The slave wage contributes to Instructors having to look elsewhere for work. 4. Management overcharges members on their monthly membership rates and will not refund the money that they stole from members. 5. Management must steal money from members because they aren't making enough dough to even keep the lights on at this point! 6. Maybe if they would have bought a less expensive clock for the Group X room they could have paid their instructors more... I digress... 7. Those who show up for Yoga class are regularly surprised with Pilates class in place of Yoga...There is a difference. 8. Child care is a joke. Don't bore your kid to death by bringing them here while you work out. It'll take years off of their life. To recap: Call ahead to make sure there is class...Check your credit card statement each month to make sure these deviants don't rip you off...and be prepared for other twists and turns as this story turns from bad to worse. read more

This facility continues to disappoint me. My son and his friends went to play soccer on the turf during a major snow storm. There was nobody at the front desk so they walked in and planned on paying when they walked out. After 2 hours they were approached by the manager, Sharon who was very upset that 3 out of the 5 of the teenage boys did not have memberships. Although they tried to explain that they had money to pay - but no one was at the front desk, she chose to tell them they were STEALING from her company. She then proceeded to call the parents of the boys who were members and said they were no longer welcome there. What message is this sending? This is a small community that finally has an athletic facility that should be promoting positive behavior ESPECIALLY to our youth. I hope this facility can find a manager that will appreciate the support that this community would happily give. read more
