Always a fan os Specs. Came to pickup an online order and was a bit surprised to know after asking…read morean associate you can 'grab and go' from the pickup area. Good and bad to this as our order was ready however unlike the other ordered there was no sales slip with the name for the order. We found an associate to help us locate this and it was indeed in an unmarked box. Makes sense as this was a large order with 10 bottles, so I can understand why they may not have had the sales slip pinned to the outside. Especially if this are is not monitored and people can grab and go. Store was clean and well put together. Was a bit shocked to see a coffee area?! In a liquor store? Who knew. And sadly they do not carry the Malfy Lemon Gin which is so hard to find.

Probably the best store for alcohol in Lubbock. Massive selection here - I think it's the largest…read morein the city. They have wines of all kinds from all over the world and all the way down to those straight from nearby in Texas. Beer galore to choose from - there's always something unique to try out. And of course the huge selection of liquors goes without saying. Noteworthy is their ever-growing Japanese whiskey selection. There are tons of the small shot bottles that make great gifts for the holidays or a great way to sample. Don't forget the humidor for your cigar fix, too. The prices are on par with those I've seen in other states around the country. They have a credit price and a cash price that's 5% cheaper than that. There's also a by-the-box/case price for liquors. They regularly have sample servers here meaning you can almost always try some of the drinks out in-store, though it's never an obligation to buy them. The staff members are always friendly, helpful, and seem pretty easygoing. The store is bright and laid out in a way that you can see the signage easily from one end to the other. They play music over the PA system and their theme mascot is a rabbit. Again, if you're looking for alcohol in Lubbock, especially something obscure, this is the best place to find it.

This establishment catered my wedding and it was awful. We had the chicken fried steak meal and…read morealmost all of them were overcooked to burnt. We paid for them to call for seconds and leave the food with us but maybe five minutes after delivering the food, they did not call for seconds and they took the remaining food. There were people at my wedding who did not get to eat. I called the establishment and told whomever is in charge of it what I wrote above, and she offered no apology, challenged my report, and was incredibly defensive. If I had the choice of picking this place to cater, I would choose any other place. This catering company is not recommended for any event. Poor quality food and customer service.

I have eaten at events twice now that were catered by PJ's. The first time, the meat was so tough…read morethat it broke the plasticware that they provided. My husband had to take out his large pocketknife to cut his meat. Other men saw him do that and also got out their pocketknives. The food was otherwise ok, but for an event that large, lining up in different lines for the main dishes, then desserts, then teas was not efficient. We attended a second large event catered by them and while the beef was tender, the chicken was stringy and so dry, it was also very hard to cut and chew. It was definitely overcooked. The vegetables were very good, but there was too little food and the tea was not in the table. It would have been do much better to have pitchers in the tables. Instead, guests had to continually go to the side tables, then carry glasses of tea through the crowds. Overall, it was not a great experience, especially when we had better food and experiences from other caterers in Lubbock.

Every table is a small with four seats, which makes it harder to mingle and get to know other people. My biggest complaint is the food and service; the beef was mostly burnt chunks, the sausage was bland, the tortillas were dry, and insisting that one person serve from two meat trays for 500+ people made it take forever. They had to start the program while half the people were still in line so that the schedule for the whole night wouldn't be thrown off. They even made a big deal about forming two lines and going down both sides of the table, but Chuck had to mete out the burnt beef, weird tortillas, and nameless sausage one person at a time. Then, after serving yourself beans, corn, and potatoes, the peach cobbler was pre-portioned in servings of about three tablespoons! And it was cold. Worst "Texas BBQ" I have ever had, even compared to other event centers. Staff came through while the kids were doing awards and took plates, even though some of them had barely started eating. I will never recommend 4BarK as a location for an organizational event. Two stars because none of the staff was actively rude. P.S. The restrooms are labeled as "Stables" and are about that nice - gentlemen might as well go urinate on the barn wall out back.
