I discovered Thomas Pink for the first time in Glasgow, when I was looking for an all important birthday prezzie for my dad, who had his fill of novelty socks and Rangers Football Club memorabilia. Something more swish was in order and I got him a lovely shirt from here.
Fast forward a year or so and I find myself in the large branch of Thomas Pink in Edinburgh City Centre, this time looking for a shirt for myself, with my graduation in mind. In her head, my mother has been planning my Grad day since I left the womb, and she wanted me to get something nicer and more expensive than my usual Primark basics. She was paying, so who was I to argue.
This branch of Pink has much more for the ladies, and I have to say the products are of the highest quality of anywhere you could shop. You pay for it though, and some things are obscenely expensive and clearly reserved for the fuller wallet. However, after much deliberation and shirt modelling for my mother who sat there like Gok Wan, I left with a very smart double cuff Herringbone shirt which cost £69! Almost £70 for a shirt! I was outraged and tried to bargain for a cheaper one so I could keep the change but my Mothers mind was made up.
Very expensive but very high quality- fantastic if you need a smart, tailored look and are willing to shell out for it. read more
