Lol I had called in advance a few other places because my dog has major issue with nail trimming and it is very difficult to trim her nails. Many places, even my own vet, couldn't do it, or couldn't handle a dog that gets so scared that they try to hurt themselves. But they did an amazing job, it's the closest her nails have ever been trimmed and apparently she was calm enough in their presence that she didn't even freak out! So, so happy with the job done! Also wonderfully priced

I just moved back to West Columbia and I was looking for a new groomer for my 10 month old golden…read moreretriever. The little dude is a handful as he weighs in around 65lbs. and is very active. He was a mess. He resembled a Sasquatch having a bad hair day. They took him in and told me it would be about 3 hours. They were dead on with the timing and when I picked him up he looked great. He has a very full tail that looks like it could be a "Swiffer" duster and it was straight up when he walked out to me. The look on his face just screamed "finally I got that mess off of me". I brought him home and he just chilled. The whole time I've had him he never did that. Great first time experience. Update: My second visit was a total disaster. I went to pick him up and when I got there they brought him out still wet. So wet one of them tried drying him with a towel. He also smelled bad, one of them used some kind of spray on his rear end. As I stood there I noticed he was bleeding from his right rear paw. They tried to stop it to no avail. It took me 30 minutes with cotton balls and peroxide cleaning up the dried blood and applying pressure to finally get it to stop bleeding. They also apparently tried trimming his stomach hair and cut him up pretty bad with the trimmer. I didn't find that out until I got home and tried to stop the bleeding. To top it all off they also took a spot of skin off of his scrotum. I called back and got voice mail, left a message and no one called me back. To make it worse it was his first birthday too! No way in hell would I take him back there! I found out from a friend who has a business nearby that one of his delivery drivers commented he used to take his dogs there but when he picked them up they were stressed out so he went somewhere else too. Then to top it all off it cost me $150.00 at the vet, one of his ears had a large chunk of something in it, I know I watched her dig it out and he had to take antibiotics for it Beware and stay away from this place.

They started taking care of her the moment we walked in the door, they were very gentle and patient and they told me that her appointment would actually take longer than a usual appointment because of her age, that they would likely take lots of breaks and move slowly so she wouldn't get too tired (she has issues standing) or get scared during her shedding blowout. I picked her up and she looked beautiful, so soft and smelled great. They told me she needed help standing in the tub so I'm glad they helped her. Her hair was clipped specifically so she wouldn't get dirty when trying to use the bathroom (little old lady problems) and her nails and paw fur were trimmed to give her better grip when walking on hard floors. Loving the reprieve from shedding, too. They even figured out I was military and told me to tell them next time so I could get my discount but I didn't even bother mentioning it because I figure they earned every penny. Thank you guys for making life a little nicer for my old baby!
