So I go on Google to leave my review for the Hollywood Motel in Farmingdale, and the FIRST thing that pops up is this news article saying TWO MEN WERE FOUND UNALIVE IN THE JACUZZI. HUH?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! That's the SAME room we stayed in! We were literally sitting in that nasty old crusty jacuzzi like it was nothing. It wasn't even remodeled or replaced. So you're telling me two people died in that tub, they bodies were found soaking in there, and y'all just cleaned it up and rented the room back out like nothing ever happened? Ain't no way. I don't even care if they bleached that thing a thousand times. The thought alone got me sick to my stomach. I'm sitting here replaying it in my head and getting goosebumps. I would've NEVER gotten in that jacuzzi if I knew what happened in that room. Isn't there some kind of law where you gotta tell people somebody died in the room? Or at least remodel the place or rip that old jacuzzi out! Instead it's the same busted, ancient tub looking like it's been there since the '80s. I'm dead serious... I don't think I'm sleeping for a month after finding this out. This whole place creeped me out before I knew the story, and now it all makes sense. Never again. One of the most disturbing motel experiences l've ever had. One star is being generous.

When we checked in showed the receptionist the service animal card and everything was fine. Around 4am my fiance and I had went to smoke a cigarette in the truck. When I walked out of the room I saw the woman staring at us in the window I had a feeling that something was gonna happen and for sure she just takes it upon herself to go in our room. Which my dog was still there and scared her. After that she was trying to get us to leave with only 50 dollars saying we never notified anyone about the dog. Or pay an extra 50 dollars for dog. She also tried to trick me to leave room so she can deactivate key card but luckily because the air conditioner was not working i left window open and was able to get in. Rm 102.We called the police and they agreed she either needs to give us full refund or let us finish out stay. She was not happy about it because she thought she was right. But I had all legal documentation for my dog. All in all you have no right to go in someones room or deny anyone for service animal unless they are be destructive or disturbing someone. She is crazy and stay away to avoid any drama if you want to have a nice night with your man or woman. She really had nothing better to do than to mess with us. Even saying I was not military becasue my cat card was expired but I had my va vard right next to it which she wouldnt even look at just kept saying I was not military.

Paid 800 for 3 nights of a headache turned migraine and my sister wound up with a full on asthma attack the last night! Overall the worst! Thankfully we were only there to sleep, it was the only accommodations available to us in a bind. I wouldn't even eat in the room. The deodorizer they use to cover the mildew smell was nauseating. The guy at the counter was nice. There's that. They wont refund, Wyndham is ignoring the issue, and Priceline (where I booked it) is deflecting accountability. I wish I had put it on a credit card, I would have made a claim.

Now, I fully expected the lovely smell of mildew that you can only get from cheap motel rooms with all-purpose carpeting that hasn't been changed since 1972 and smells oddly of pool towels left in a corner even though there is no pool. It did have it but the management had tried to somewhat remedy this by tying air fresheners to the air conditioner. you know the kind, the little ones shaped like a tree that smell like evergreen.
