My child went to this daycare a couple months ago. Everyone was nice; however, I am very disappointed with how things were run. My child was constantly getting injured by other children (bit numerous times, pushed, scratched on the face where a scar was left, the list goes on). When I would walk into the building it smelled nasty, the rooms were not clean, and the staff was often out numbered by students. One day I walked in during nap time, the cots were literally next to each other (by regulation they have to be at least 3 feet apart) and I was told numerous times that a child kept climbing into my child's cot and snuggling with them. Yes this may be cute at the time but completely inappropriate for 2 children to be sleeping on the same cot together. I had signed my child up for extra curricular activities (phonics, cooking, etc) and they were great about doing phonics twice a week but once I noticed teachers were leaving and under staffed, phonics ended up not existing because the phonics teacher was in charge of another classroom. When I went to receive my child's belongings I noticed that 2 children on the other side of the building were fighting during nap time. I noticed a child was hitting another child with his belt and spanking him very hard. I found it very hard to believe that the teacher could not hear what was going on due to it being nap time. The final straw was when I went to pick up my child and had noticed that my child visibly looked as if they didn't feel well. I had asked the teacher in the room and she had said "Well now that you mention it your child doesn't look like they feel well and they've looked this way all day". There had been times that my child had been there for maybe an hour and when I picked my child up they were sobbing and I had asked what happened and I got 2 different stories from the teacher and the director. It is hard as a parent to trust a facility to care for your children. I had fully trusted this facility to watch my child until I had noticed that things were going downhill and I then decided that it be in my child's best interest to pull them and put them in another daycare. The teachers do not follow the curriculum and often times my child would bring home art projects that were just a cotton ball taped to a piece of black paper. I understand that it is hard to do art projects with children; however, some of the art projects were just random things glued to a piece of paper read more
