I like the structured routine, the caring staff and that she actually learned a few things during her time as a student. I would randomly stop in and have lunch and was always welcomed. I could see the positive way the children interacted with each other. They were very good with parent involvement and would have activities once a month. I went through the accreditation process and got that school accredited. I showed up everyday and never called off unless I was really sick. Well... I was fired on 11/10/21 because I decided that I want to open my own daycare. The owner has known this for the last 9 months and was totally fine with it, but now ALL OF A SUDDEN... it's a conflict of interest and I might try to talk to the parents and take her children to my school. This is all because she wanted me to take over her school and after thoughtful consideration, I decided not to, so she used that against me. I left the school for 15 minutes and returned to get my belongings and she had someone there changing the locks on all of the doors (smh) as if I want to steal her stuff. again, smh. There is SO MUCH that I could expose about this school, but I'm bigger than that so I won't... Just know that my school will be open soon and I am very happy and excited! I contacted her and gave her the hours we needed and the rate we were willing to pay. She said she would set up interviews with 3 nannies and we could select the best fit. When I called her about setting up the interviews she never called back. My husband called 3 days later and she didn't call him back. A week after my first call I called again and her voice mail was full. I emailed her from her website and asked her to let us know if she was unable to help us. She finally called me back that day and said "I'm sorry it has been a crazy week." She then text me and asked when she could set the interviews. I coordinated with my husband and text back that we would be available the day she offered. Not even 2 hours later she sent me a text saying the rate I had given her 2 weeks ago wasn't going to be enough to cover her costs and unless I could increase my weekly rate by $115 she couldn't do it and good luck with my search. I would have had no issue with this had she told me that on our first phone call. She was not responsive and she doesn't seem to be organized. I would not recommend this business to other parents.
