We contracted with Hernandez Roofing to replace the roof on a rental property slated for sale…read more During the project, Raul identified additional necessary repairs to the fascia board and plywood. We authorized and remitted payment for this supplementary work, which amounted to an additional $3,465. Unfortunately, the property subsequently failed its home inspection, with the report citing deficiencies in the roofing work. We promptly contacted Hernandez Roofing, providing them with a copy of the inspection report to illustrate the required remedies. We also expressed our willingness to pay for the necessary repairs to ensure the property would pass a follow-up inspection. To date, we have not received a response from Hernandez Roofing. Consequently, we have engaged another roofing company to perform the necessary repairs to bring the property up to code. Sadly, I cannot recommend this company.

I have had to redo more than 70% of the work he did since he walked off the job leaving it incomplete. EVERY YEAR since 2018 I have had to hire someone new to come back and fix the work he did . I have had to completely redo the plumbing in one of the houses because he folded the hot water line and cemented it in costing me more than $3,000. He did not do any of the electrical correctly, I did not pass inspections, and I had to rehire someone to undo all the work he did and do it correctly. I had to completely redo the flooring in the other house after it only lasted 3 years because he didn't level or create a solid subfloor. He actually used cut up vinyl plank flooring to level the subfloor. I am currently having to redo the tub and shower enclosure because of poor installation. He never completed the exterior painting. The water heater wasn't installed correctly. There is not enough space on Yelp for me to detail all the things he did wrong. He is not a skilled contractor and has zero integrity. Every time I need to redo something I hired him to do I will come back and update this as his work is still coming back to haunt me even 8 years later. Hire at your own risk.

They came soon & began soon & explained everything & made me feel so comfortable to work with them - seemed like the integrity was through the roof , UNTIL , it wasn't - After months of texting and calling "jessica" with no response after they got paid , their "1 year warranty" turned out to be falsified. When the rain came back , we continued to have leaks in the areas they worked on - Went through HOOPS of calling every roofer they had sent out in desperation to get someone to come check the work , because we were still under our year of "warranty." Well, two guys came back and stayed they're not with the company anymore , but that they'd contact the owner . They did so , and they came and put black plastic over the problems areas & never returned to fix anything , claiming that its additional work - but it's the SAME area they worked on. We pretty much paid them for a quick fix & they haven't held up to their "warranty." During this entire process , ZERO returned calls from their office , and ZERO calls from their receptionist Jessica - The workers were the only ones who returned our calls & although they claimed they didn't work for the company anymore , they came and scoped things out. So grateful for THEM- but for the integrity of the company & them returning calls ? Hell no . I'm highly disappointed & shocked that they did a complete turn around on us , when they were so excellent in the beginning . Very disappointed . If they don't return your calls - don't even bother - it's the first of many , and other reviews on Yelp can verify that as such

He explained how roofing is measured by "squares" so the with and length of your roof is divided into squares I guess that how they determine how much material is need it. He's crew came in took the old roof out replace old damage plywood that need it to be replace and everything looked clean and very professional. I would like to thank him for an incredible work they did they showed up on time, Made sure that the work area was always clean even though it's difficult to keep roofing material from flying all over the place. But it's a big RV yard with no RV behind a big fence so out of sight out of mind. Until we our move coincided with his deployment and suddenly we have no idea what do to with all the crap that we can't possibly get rid of ourselves. I found Tony with a quick local Google search. When i can, i like to stick small and local. The little guy has to eat to and usually that little guy is a neighbor i happen to like. I sent him an email for a quote through his website. He called me back within a few hours and asked for photos to give me a more accurate quote. I'm surprised he didn't turn us down with the photo of the fence panels piled 4 feet high! We agreed on a price and tried to settle on a date. Mind you, my husband was deploying in 5 days and we still needed to make a trip out of town to deliver some stuff to family. Stressful is an understatement. Tony was sooo cool though. He was super busy with previous appointments but offered to fit us in when we needed him to be there. Luc mkokily after much schedule tap dancing, we settled on a date and time that worked well for both of us. Tony showed up at the latter end of our agreed upon window, but kept us updated with GPS ETAs. He was very upfront about his morning time table. He managed to fit EVERYTHING into his trailer. It took some magical puzzling but he took everything in the photos plus a little more we didn't think to include but when we showed it to him, he told us to throw it in. He even accepted those evil palm leaves with the nasty spikes 6" long. And when we started helping, very seriously told us he absolutely didn't need our help until the fence panels because even batman needs sidekick some days. We helped load everything in. It's our crap, fair is only fair. At the end of it all, even with the extra bits, he didn't charge us more than the quoted price. I'm not saying he won't charge you more if it's more than the photos show, but it was really fair. The best part, at least to me, i could pay him with venmo. VENMO!! He takes a credit card, but he's a one man team and credit card services are hard on the small business. But i had OPTIONS! I didn't need to be walking around with a wad of cash or dig out my defunct checkbook. All in all, Tony was great. We had fun and funny conversations that made the whole job move along. It was all done and taken care of in just a couple of hours (side conversations not withstanding.) I would absolutely use Tony again to move anything around and i would recommend you use him too.
