Pine Ridge Landscaping did a great job helping me with leaf removal. It took a couple of weeks for them to come out once I signed the contract, but I know they're busy this time of year and I'm not on their regular schedule, so I didn't get all twisted up about it. Pine Ridge failed to mow my lawn two weeks in a row. I attempted to contact them multiple times. Keith told me they would definitely get to it on Friday. He didn't show. On Saturday he said he was on my way to my house but alas, he didn't show until 4 hours later. I asked him for a time to expect him but he never let me know. I have a contract with them but he is very unresponsive and my yard looked terrible as we were over 2 weeks without a cut at the end of May and early June. I thought the issues that I had when I initially contracted with him to mulch and seed my yard in the spring were an anomaly but they appear instead to be part of a pattern. After first contacting him to do Spring bed clean-up and mulching, I waited 3 plus weeks and they never showed even though he stated they would mulch within the week after receiving the contract. When I finally was able to reach him, I had to insist that they do the work as they wanted to wait another 2 weeks which would have put us into late May for mulching and seeding and over 5 weeks from the initial request for service. (Then he never cleaned up/trimmed the plants in the side gardens. ) The delays, unresponsiveness, and lack of communication and the fact that he clearly misled, if not outright lied, to me about being on his way are indicative of the poor customer service and an unreliable business. I would advise you to avoid working with Pine Ridge Landscaping. read more

Our front yard had been an eyesore for several years and we were just mowing the weeds during the summer. After we got some trees cleared away we knew we needed to put down sod before summer so we contact Pine Ridge. Keith came out the same week I called, he was on time and courteous. In just two days he gave us a very reasonable estimate and we got the work scheduled. I asked about some of the negative reviews I had read about workers being left unsupervised and he said that had been corrected and he made sure I had his phone number if I had any questions. He was right, the team he sent out worked hard, quickly and with great skill. They scraped out all the old weeds and grass, graded and leveled with a bobcat to ensure proper drainage, put down topsoil, filled in the ruts near the road and carefully placed sod so it looked like a beautiful green carpet. Our front yard looks amazing now. The grass is green and healthy and not a weed in sight. Big thanks to the team at Pine Ridge, we will use them again for landscaping projects. We contracted with Pine Ridge to level our lawn that had a definite bowl shape. We met with Tom Brady and he confidently assured us his team would go a good job. The crew showed up without Tom and with a broken sod cutter and spent hours trying to fix it while others manually dug out the sod. My husband fixed their equipment and they proceeded. It became apparent the crew didn't understand they were to level the yard. After removing all our grass, they spread different dirt to the same level throughout. When we tried to explain the problem, there was nobody on site that could understand us, though we all tried to use Google translate. We contacted Tom and he viewed the project and redirected the crew. They put down more dirt and then seeded and rolled straw over the entire lawn. Weeks later when the grass started growing we noticed the straw was held together with fine plastic netting that was laying on top of the new grass. We found two piles of long staples that probably should have been installed to anchor the netting. I am disgusted with the use of the plastic netting and would never have consented to its use in our yard. Responsible contractors should use something like jute, that will biodegrade in time. We found a dead snake tangled in the netting. I've spent hours removing the netting from the lawn and there are many places where the grass is dead. I do not recommend this company. read more

Pine Ridge did show up in a timely fashion to provide us with estimates for landscaping and mowing, the only positive thing about our interaction with them. Their representative, Tom, did not seem knowledgeable about many of our plants, but promised an estimate later in the afternoon of the same day. Pine Ridge did several no shows to come provide an estimate for lawn service, and I had to keep calling to reschedule because they never followed up. Then when they finally came I had to call / Email repeatedly to actually get the estimate for weekly lawn mowing. Then they didn't show up to mow my lawn and I had to keep calling. Then they said they would give me a courtesy mow for all the trouble, but several no shows for that as well. They finally did a courtesy mow, but now two no shows for the next mow and my grass is overgrown again. I tried to give them a chance because they were a referral, but I believe I've given them more of a chance than anyone else would put up with .....and I finally gave up. read more

Communication was not great - they didn't show up on several of the days they were supposed to be there but never called to tell us they wouldn't be there. Follow-up wasn't great either - they really need to close out a job by communicating and walking through what they've done with you, not just leaving. The only time they promptly communicated was for payment. However, their crew worked hard and did a nice job for the most part on 1 of our 2 jobs. read more

I had extreme pleasure of working with Keith and his professional staff this last Friday 10/9. We relocated from California to the Virginia area and recently purchased a house. Our rear yard needed to be cleared of overgrown brush and we wanted to lay down seed for the upcoming spring. Keith and his staff at Pineridge Landscaping were both professional and accommodating on short notice. Their work was top notch and we are very impressed on all aspects of their job.
