The walkthrough was for the most part pleasant and I liked some of the ideas we discussed. I wanted some bushes removed, to get on routine lawn maintenance schedule and eventually redo my backyard area. He said the maintenance is based on an annual contract so it would be 5K for the year, basically locked in. I was like ok well send me the estimate/contract so I can review and make a decision. He told me he would send in a few days. I thought everything was fine, but randomly on the next Sunday two guys show up to my home unannounced saying they work for Richard. I told them I never received a contract and they said they just wanted to look around my home. I was a little sketched out so I tried calling the company's phone number to verify they worked for Richard, but obviously it being Sunday morning nobody answered. When Richard did return my call the next day, he said he didn't ask them to come that day but did tell them to go to my home. I re-emphasized that I didn't appreciate people showing up unannounced to my new home as I'm still settling into the area. Then he got defensive saying I should get a security system if I don't feel safe, that the area is safe. The house came with one already so again mentioning a security system felt like it was just a way to deflect instead of just apologizing for the mix-up. He said he would still send the estimate on Tuesday.... uhh what?! He never did and I was already not going to move forward after what I felt came off as rude and unprofessional behavior with the way he handled the situation. I don't recommend this company and am happy I got to see this behavior early on before locking into a contract. Poor value and red flags!

He was very professional and attentive to budget, and offered us a few great options. We decided to hire him, and we could not be happier with the exceptional work that Richard and the crew did. Our new flagstone patio is beautiful and exactly what we wanted -- the stonework is perfect. They did the work exactly in the timeframe they specified, they were respectful of our yard while working, and they finished quickly. Dale, Jesse, and the office staff were professional and informative in all their communications (email, in person, phone). The crew's results showed that they worked carefully around internet cables, ornaments, etc., and cleaned up well. One part of the contract wasn't quite done, but a quick email from me had them out within a day to finish the job. (I have a rather large backyard that consists of lawn, hardscaping, and a lengthy blue gravel driveway. The yard also features a 5' W x 50' L raised garden bed planted with various dwarf evergreens trees and deciduous plants. It is a lot of yard and I find it next to impossible to keep it looking neat and orderly.) The Moyers landscaping team, led by Danny, arrived on the exact day and time promised (no rescheduling on their end; what a blessing in this day and age). I watched the team working from my windows and could not believe how hardworking and efficient they were. The crew was absolutely dedicated to the work at hand and cut no corners. In short, they exceeded my every expectation. On Day 2, I was greeted at my door by Danny for the walk through of the completed work. I couldn't believe my eyes. I am not exaggerating when I say that my yard was transformed. I was so bowled over that I became emotional -- to the point of tears, and I do not cry easily. We sent them the repair bill as requested, but since then we have not received payment and our attempts to resolve the issue have gone unanswered. We gave them multiple opportunities to handle this professionally, but unfortunately we are now considering pursuing the matter through civil court. Customer service and accountability have been extremely poor in our experience. I strongly recommend reading other customers' reviews and the company's responses before deciding to hire them.
