The owners of this resort are very nice and friendly. You can rent out one of their six cabins or a spots for an RV. They have a Lodge right away when you get to the resort where you can check in and out as well as buy beer on tap. They also carry other beverages, ice cream, convince items, and also a variety of other things. They also have free coffee there in the mornings. This resort is right on Leech Lake and has its own private boat ramp attached to their marina. Right by the marina, they also have a wood fired oven available for their guest to use, and you will definitely want to use it. While we stayed here, we used the wood fired oven twice and it was amazing. They also have canoes and kayaks for guests to use, which were very fun. They have a small beach for people and also a small dog beach. A lighthouse is also located by the dog beach area. Overall this was a great resort to stay at for vacation. It had everything we needed and you can't beat the location. Being able to sit in the morning and view the lake is truly great.

I heard the loons and it was mesmerizing! Total relaxation!! The cabin was older, but clean and furnished. My only thought was that new linens were needed! Nestled between 2 lakes, this resort has a perfect wedding ceremony area. Absolutely perfect. The Lodge had a bar and a kitchen that adequately accommodated the caterers. The Lodge was decorated in up north fashion with a little teddy bear accent. The grounds had bird houses and feeders everywhere. A sweet all natural environment for sure. GET MARRIED HERE!

There are floors with two bathrooms on each floor with a sink and mirror in each room. Each room has a theme decor. Northwoods vibe is perfect. Two side by side kitchens make meal prep fun for a crowd. We spend leisurely days at the private beach, or on the lily pad, fishing off the dock or kayaking and paddle boarding. There is play area with small climbing wall for the young kids. Campfires at night with smores are the capper to delightful days at Edgewood.

Pat and Dave are fabulous hosts, Pat is Berts daughter. These cabins are very well appointed, as you expect "rustic" cabins to be. While you have everything for a comfortable stay if you want TV this is not the place for you. We had a great time and will definitely stay at Berts again in the future.
