Sadly, the Merle Norman store there closed at the end of last year, so I have to go to downtown Athens to get my MN fix. This is my favorite super Target in HSV., their merch is more upscale and the store has maintained its cleanliness despite its age. I love HH at Mezza Luna and their oysters. Several nice patios for dining when the weather is nice. Plus, this part of "the valley" is so beautiful with The Ledges right across the street.

Now, there are some really nice shops that could compete with similar type stores even in Dallas. One of those gems is Village Interiors. Upon walking in, you will see exquisite furniture, lamps and household accouterments gallore. Gorgeous upscale items that one would not expect to find in a small town store. In the back area, there is a gift shop with unique items. I could have spent a bundle there on all of the fun stuff, but here is what I walked out with: 1. a pair of stripped socks with a kitty face on the toes (awwww) 2. a night shirt that says "Cat Person" with a huge kitty on it to go with the socks from #1 3. a plaque with the saying, "I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them" 4. a gift for Sugar Bear...a magnet that says "All men are idiots and I married their king" (he thinks it is hilarious) My mom purchased a book and a decorative hand towel with a religious saying on it. This is a really cute gift shop/furniture store. If you are in Rogersville, check it out! You'll have no problem finding it...just tun into town (right from Athens, left from Wheeler Dam) at THE stop light.

Also, know there is underground parking on the south end and 2-3 story parking at Belk close to Connors. Do visit BSTC, it's nice that they have a Ferris wheel, and I believe some type of boats available on the far east side, and it's dog friendly in the shopping common area where you'll see plenty of folks with their 4-legged family member.

A clean well stocked clean market. I was able to find what I needed. I was happy. The isles are well stocked. There is a section that has fresh vegetables. They looked good and fresh. The candy section is always my favorite parts of a supermarket. I was so happy to find sugar daddy's and twix. Those two candy bars made my day. I bought a chocolate cake from them. It was delicious. It had big chunks of chocolate chips. It was real good and moist. We enjoyed it very much. It tasted freshly made to me. The staff was super nice and helpful to all of us. I was happy I stopped in.
