Unless you know this place exists you are not likely to run into it, maybe if you happen to be walking in this park area. There is a full service restaurant and a self service Biergarten. The food at the restaurant is Italian and the Biergarten serves the usual Bavarian classics. I enjoyed my generous serving of spare ribs and it tasted good. The roast chicken was also quite tasty. She handled everyone by herself while being fast and efficient. She was patient while also getting this group beer and food. Appetizers. Goulash was very good, burrata was also tasty, fresh and hot pretzels were spot on. I'm not a fan of pork knuckle but this is their specialty. The half portion was huge and served with a potatoe dumpling (just ok) and gravy (yum). Sauerkraut was delicious too. And last but not least, the beer!!!

The best that we had in Munich. Breaded veal schnitzel with sautéed potatoes and marinated cranberries. The cranberries kicked the flavor up a notch. So tasty. The Kasespatzel was a cheesy Swabian style noodle dish topped with crispy fried onions. So good. So addictive. Loved the dressing on the simple side salad that came with the Kasespatzel. Wanted something cool and refreshing to drink. Went with a blackberry sparking water refresher. Luba was such a great waitress. Definitely made our favorite meal in Munich a special one to remember.
