This pilot wasn't bad at all there is one down the road that doesn't have a scale so you gotta just try this one if you need to be weighed. It definitely has a lot of parking and located near another Pilot and also the world's largest truck stop. It's definitely worth a visit you wont have any issues finding parking. I have used Pilot J gas in many places across the country and at this particular place It was clean and well attended with staff a available to help you in no matter what type of situation you may need. Pilot J in general has very good covid-19 practices in all their staff were masked as well. The quality of the gas is excellent. They also have lots of tasty snacks with cold and sandwich type things. read more

There are 21 Pilots all over this country. And that makes me Stressed Out. And all their employees are Heathens, so take it slow. Take your time on your Ride. And stay in your Lane Boy. This is the Pilot next to the world's largest truck stop so it must have trouble competing! Then again maybe it got some of the business that spills over from the world's largest truck stop. Which is owned by TA I believe. It's a pretty good stop with usually the same price as the others in the region. read more

Quick in and out with some good gas station specials!

This spot deserves four stars for the infamous truck stop food alone. I'm talking the mini tacos, egg rolls, and chicken gizzards that always seem to elude me at other stops. It's pretty uncommon to find some good, albeit unhealthy, eats at truck stops nowadays. I didn't partake in any of the fare on this particular visit, but I was stoked to see it. The place is laid out with all the typical truck stop accoutrements: an aisle or two of candy and chips, a soda fountain area, coolers for other beverages, and then aisle after aisle of "trucker stuff." We're talking CB radios, mud flaps, and little hula dolls for the dashboard. Oh, did you want some lights to light your way from the seat to the bunk? They have those too! No truck stop is complete without showers and a laundromat. I didn't enter either, but if they were anything like the restrooms I'm sure they were immaculate. They had some seriously clean restrooms at this place. If I were a trucker on the long haul, I'd expect nothing less. read more

This a pilot with a "PJ Fresh in it". I bought the "mega meat " salad. The meat looked super fresh and it was. Except under the meat was two inches of wilted and unfresh ice burg lettuce. It was the most disgusting salad I've ever eaten and could only take a few bites. Unfortunately, I thru it in my fridge, and kept driving so I wasn't able to return it. Message to corporate: Do you think the lettuce for a salad at a place called PJ Fresh should be fresh? Apparently not. Summation for drivers: DONT BUY THE MEGAMEAT SALAD. It's a gas station with food options so why the four stars? I've driven from PA- CA three times now and I have say this is one of the nicer rest/service areas for weary travelers who need a place to gas up, get some grub, take a break, and cool down from the summer heat. Clean bathrooms, lots of seating and a decent (for service areas) array of food choices. Random gift shop there too if you want to get a trinket. It's pretty big too so you shouldn't have an issue finding parking though on busy days you may have to park slightly farther away but since people are constantly streaming in and out, you should find yourself a decent spot near the entrance. read more

Clean Pilot, located near Iowa 80, has limited truck-parking and an Arby's. Friendly service and cheap gas. I wouldn't recommend buying any of the souvenirs, gag gifts or clothing because they are all extremely cheaply made and over-priced. read more

I don't have anything really negative or really positive to say. It's a gas station. The prices are generally cheaper than the huge I-80 World's Largest Truck Stop gas station right across the street. There is a microwave, where you can warm up food (which I think all truck stops have that I didn't notice/pay attention to before). I think there were two stalls in the women's bathroom so there can be a bit of a wait if there are a lot of people. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Stopped to get a little gas ($40)and got a $151 dollar hold on my debit card. My car wouldn't hold $150 worth if I filled the trunk. Called the office and the lady said she gets 4 or 5 calls on this a day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Go to I80 truck stop. It's on the other side of the highway. read more
