Once in side the QC Mart I was greeted by a gal with a Pricellia Presley hair dew all smiles and fun! I asked her about American Pickers which she said was right down the road and she gave me some gossip about the group! It was pretty fun! She talked my ear off and I wanted her to talk the other one off too, so sweet and fun, ps she was painting her nails during this whole conversation! I hit the bathroom, got some snacks, then poured myself a coffee which she ended up giving me for free! What a doll, nice spot, and it was the cleanest gas station I have ever seen affiliated with SHELL! Way to go!

I took the time to write Kwik Star about my disappointment. They NEVER REPLIED. A simple explanation would have been great but not forth coming. I called the next day for rates saying I wanted to shop around and the rude man who answered the phone said $250 would be the price, but he refuse to lay out how he arrived at that number. Regardless, that is still too high a price. Our father just passed away, and having the car break down on the trip home was harder to handle than it would have been under ordinary circumstances. I guess I should be glad that he didn't try to tack on a card fee after taking advantage of how upset my brother was, but $50 a mile is a ludicrous price. Avoid this rip-off artist at all costs!
