I requested the services each time using the U-Haul app the first time was a few months ago I believe last Summer and I needed a mini truck and this past week I needed a van. The only thing I needed to do was get the physical keys. The employee already knew that I was coming and was expecting me so he actually walked out to confirm who I was and passed me the keys. 10 out of 10 the usage, the quality, value and service Definitely check out online to see if they are offering any specials nevertheless the vehicles were clean didn't have any issues even though they do offer options to add on warranty services as far as to cover you if anything happens Etc. The GM, Brian, is amazing. He will get you the BEST for all your moving needs. My out of state move was a piece of cake. The trucks are rather new, low mileage, nice ride, and always easy loading. They do not allow you to unload your vehicle from the trailer at their location. I guess you're supposed to automatically know this prior to arrival because the trashy woman with the bad bleached blonde hair job acted like it was known information but it was never disclosed to us. She was rude and has absolutely no customer service skills. Surprisingly she was the manager. She refused to tell us where to park the truck and trailer in their lot once we offloaded our car. Their excuse was the parking lot is too small to return your rentals and accommodate space for more than one return at a time. We never saw another return come in after us so I think it's just a policy to have a policy. To compensate for it you have to unload your car somewhere else and drive the rental back to the location and then walk back to your vehicle. Will they help you unload if you'r car if you're by yourself? Don't count on it. Also, you have to do a u-turn to get into the parking lot which is impossible with a larger truck with a car transport attached. It forces you to find a parking lot big enough to turn around at risk of hitting other cars. Just avoid this ghetto hot mess.

On top of that, the movers said I needed to rent a truck. So got a truck from UHAUL, drove it to the house, them back to the store since movers never showed up. So I'm out 100+dollars for a truck and 200+ dollars for the so called movers. I think UHAUL has developed a scam in this regard as I have gotten no resolve via UHAUL or the movers for a refund for either of the above. Let me just say, there are other truck rental places out there and I don't think I will be using UHAUL in the future. They deserve less that one star.

I made three separate reservations to access my boxes giving 24 hours, 36 hours and 6 days notice- each time, staff informed me they never received my reservations. In a matter of a few months the second incident we are accused of bringing in food without evidence. It looked like we did. What we did was wife put food in our vehicle and we then went to unit. We were inocent as charged and it worked out this time but people have been maimed or killed for less.

Hours are generous and they were even open on July 4th when I was helping my buddy pick up an auto transport trailer to tow with the truck he had rented a couple days prior. The big knock on this U-Haul store is the downtown location. The lot is surrounded by city streets on all four sides so at busy times of the day getting in and out can be tricky especially if you're driving a big truck and pulling a trailer. The lot is just way too crowded with trailers and vehicles which can make navigating the lot a little tricky. There are a few designated customer parking spaces but but they can be difficult to get in and out of depending on all the other stuff parked around them. The first time I was there it wasn't an issue but on my second visit I had a tough time backing my car out of the parking spot. Overall the facility is okay and you can accomplish your tasks in a reasonable time and fashion, just be prepared to work at a little more than is necessary at most other locations.
