#96/2022 trying they're getting better I still got a ways to go though this is an older Wilco converted to Pilot a few years back but it has gone through change after change in the post-covid world much more in the negative unfortunately that I've come in numerous times. I'm getting suggestions to review so many of these places so it's a little bit of a catch up I was recently in here about a month ago. I had been avoiding it for quite some time because it got really scummy. Yes it had the Dunkin' Donuts coffee they didn't have the supplies right they weren't making it fresh it was a real garbage pilot half the time to fuel Islands you were lucky to get one or two pumps working that weren't out of order. The bathrooms were funky unky and skunky. Some of it had to do with lousy managers here and lousy employees. I have reviewed separately though the Arby's because even though it's in the building it's not run by the pilot staff. It's a decent Arby's. The reason I'm up in the three stars here though is because it has become average across the board they have got better managers in it is a lot cleaner than what it was and a lot of the diesel pumps are fixed. So we'll just leave it to that for now and we'll see what happens in 2023 read more

Pilot Travel Center - The old Wilco pilot still have their DD Donuts Express self-serve kiosk - Gas Stations Near Me - Kenly, North Carolina

I'm traveling and been in this area a few months I frequent this store because it it on my way to work. First thing, get the cooler fixed! There has not been Pepsi products in the store in weeks. Employee says the cooler is broke. Second, the staff. Not sure if he's a manager or not but he stands at the front with his arms crossed has dark hair and a pony tail. His language is terrible for a public place. He was cussing at 6 am soon as I hit the door. There is a young guy that acts like everyday is his very first day. The employees wear gloves all the time they will ring up a customer and handle food with the same gloves. I've never had a great experience in this store I've been in several times just to see if it was the wrong shift. No, it's all the staff. Older white man I guess is the manager.. he's no help either. read more

Pilot Travel Center - This is the one - Gas Stations Near Me - Kenly, North Carolina

On the positive side, right off I-95 South in Kenly, NC! This Pilot Center has an Arby's and a Dunkin Donuts and small convenience shop and public bathrooms. Gas is cheap, can use bathroom, get something to eat. We ordered from Arby's (separate review) Place requires face masks during this Covid time. There are floor signage reminder of 6' distance but who knows whether people adhere to that (some didn't and went different way but were wearing masks), cashier staff at both Arby's and across the other side of Center weren't wearing gloves but how would one do that on the register. Other staff members were. The negative, the bathroom (women) of the three stall, the first was broken, missing door and yellow Do Not Enter sign. It gives a really bad impression though the bathroom was at least clean, had motionless paper towel dispenser, not motionless sink. Not really a negative but amazing what impression gives. Not sure if they work, there were a couple of those massage chairs across of the public restrooms. read more

A really crappy Pilot, traveling on I -95 late last night, stopped for a fill up, and Jonesing for a cup of coffee... Walked in and the two women at the counter BSing with each other, and with attitude. After filling up I went back in for that coffee, and one of the girls was joking with the other "No wonder no one's buying any coffee, there's no cream". I say, "there's no cream" she responds " no" assuring me by her response she not going to fill it up. I left pissed... read more

This is the worst pilot I've been to. Needs an update & a good cleaning. Ordered a shower & the shower was filthy. They still had the wash cloth in the shower from the person that used it before & they didn't even clean the toilet because it had poop still in it. It's like after the person left they just stuck me in it without even cleaning or checking to see if it needed cleaning. read more

Despite a huge sign on the window this store is NOT enforcing any mask rules. Out of the 6 customers in the store when I went in 3 weren't wearing masks. read more

The people here are really nice! But neither the soda machine nor the ice machine worked so either you got canned drinks or coffee. The entire place is really rundown though and obviously not well maintenanced. It's not too clean either. It just feels dingy and and dirty inside. I wouldn't go back if I had a choice. read more

It's ok with lots of parking but I find annoying that no one's care about truckers parking in the only spots for handicap. Is hard to find normal parking but is horrible the lack of respect some drivers have for the handicaps just because they see it available. Store should be more strict. read more

If you want to shower here just don't! The bathrooms are falling apart. Nasty walls everything is white and dirty. This Pilot Needs Renovation ASAP. You can't not even order a shower on the kiosk. Staff was ok I guess. No keypad for the bathroom just some. Parking has Led lights that's a good thing. But the rest just bad. read more

Cashier very nice . This place really needs a renovation. Showers are falling apart. Smell gross. Restrooms need to be cleaned and updated
