This is a good stop and I highly recommend if your going west from here, that you stop here and get your snacks and hot food because depending on the time of day, your not going to get what you want since everything in Ozona and Fort Stockton has a thing of "if the suns gone, they are gone" What I like about this gas station is the ability to have a self checkout because let's face it, we all have been stuck behind a guy playing the lottery before. They do have a subway and a subway to go with premade subs along with a Cinnabon and hot food like pizza and fried chicken. My boyfriend and I had the pizza which was good but be warn this gas station will call you out if your sitting down eating while parked at a pump (whoops that was us) I understand though because they were pressure washing around the pumps so there would be 2 pumps not able to be used at a time. I've always liked this gas station because it's consistently clean, modern, and well-maintained. The pumps are reliable, and the whole place feels updated not run down like some others. Back when I had a gas car, this was always a go-to stop. Now that I drive an EV, I was really impressed to see they've installed GM Energy dual chargers there are two of them, which makes a huge difference. It's so much more convenient than having to drive up the hill to that random charger near the hotel. I'm genuinely glad they added these. It's going to make my trips out to West Texas a lot smoother and less stressful. read more

One last stop for gas and restroom break at Pilot in Junction, TX, before arriving at my resort. This is a much bigger Pilot than the ones I've visited so far. Gas prices were great. Restrooms were clean as they usually are at Pilot. I also did a little perusing through the aisles to see if there were any fun plush toys. Indeed, I found 3 small squishmallows... peacock, butterfly, and bee... and bought all 3 of them. Hey, when something catches my eyes, I don't hesitate to buy unless there are so many good options, then it may get mind bottling as to which to choose. It's been three years since my last review and since I've stopped at this location. Great place for a snack, a meal, a break, or fuel. Gas was $4.09 per gallon thanks to Brandon !!! This particular location is a no go for truckers watching their clock. Very limited parking!!!! Lines to the pumps that block the entrance and exit with no one to tell or secure the gas pumps from truckers that are not considerate. Always broken down gas lanes from the few that are there. A typical very well stocked truck stop. Extremely clean & fresh smelling restroom. Friendly & helpful staff. Plenty of selection on the coffee front. If you're overnighting here, the noise from heavy big rig in/out traffic diminishes greatly by about 10:30 PM. Thereafter there was just an occasional hit during the night I stayed there. If you're looking for non-truck-stop food, there's a BBQ joint just down the road a spell, that's on my radar now for next time. read more

Filled up our motorcoach a little while ago. I was confused by the instructions at the pump for DEF. So I had to make a trip inside. The cashier did not know how to handle it. But the manager was standing right there and knew perfectly how to assist me. Other than quite a bit of oil next to the diesel pumps, which you find at every truckstop, the facility was neat and clean. Pilot could do a better job on their pump instructions (e.g. am I reefer or tractor? Not a RV choice). if they want to attract occasional RVers like me, more plain English-not trucker slang would help us. But I am sure for regular customers they figure out the pump instructions and do just fine. read more

I stop at Pilot for their coffee. As far as I am concerned Pilot has the best coffee of all the usual travel stops. They have a nice selection of blends and depth, lots of choices for creamers (half and half to flavors) and the extra shots of caffeine I usually need on a long road trip. I know they have a great selection of grub. Chicken, soups and surprisingly pizza. Subway sammies and Cinnabon. Like most travel places you can get all kinds of sodas, candy and travel stuff. The gas pumps are divided between semis and cars with separate entrances. Love that! I have never met an unfriendly employee at a Pilot. In fact today when I stepped up to the register to pay for my coffee the young man at the register told me "it's on me, ma'am". I had been driving for what seemed like a million miles in rainy weather. It just made my day! read more

I was going to give it a bad review but then one of the employees was very friendly and apologetic. I was getting coffee and the coffee station was super understocked. I stood there pondering whether I wanted to even buy the coffee or ask for creamer. But after a few minutes a very nice employee came around and started to apologize for the mess and she proceeded to take some creamer out for me. Well I was going to say this was a baller gas station, but someone beat me to it. This Pilot Travel Center was a welcome sight when I needed fuel and a bathroom break. The last time I drove through west Texas I ended up at some super shady stations. This is not only not a super shady station, it's pretty awesome. It's a truck stop, but also caters to cars. The fueling area had many pumps and was easy to enter and exit. Prices were higher than in the city, but that's to be expected since it's a bit remote. The convenience store inside is massive. In addition to truck parts, clothing, and typical convenice store items, there was also a Cinnabon directly in the middle of the store. While small and busy, it was staffed by one of the most friendly employees I've ever encountered in a gas station. Plus they sold the soft inside of a cinnamon roll which was great. If you're traveling through West Texas and need a break, I recommend this station. read more

I pull up here daily cause I'm a delivery driver. The blonde cashier lady is rude every time I come here, I've heard other people mumble "bitch" when walking back to their trucks. Stopped about 1:30am. Husband went in first. Came out with a big bag of goodies. I went in and used the restroom. Store and restroom was very clean. Bought a drink. When I went back out to our truck I commented on how friendly everyone was even at that hour of the morning. Alex the cashier was particularly friendly and polite. My husband said the same thing. Alex suggested he buy another candy to get his soda free and told him the best price on cigarettes. Very good at his job! I don't usually write reviews for gas stations unless they fall on the extreme ends of the spectrum. This pilot gas station is one that thoroughly surprised me. The exterior was very clean and a gentlemen was constantly tidying up the outside the pump area. When you walk in the aroma of Cinnabon hits you. There is also a subway and pizza available and the food looked fresh. The female restrooms were very clean (and water wasn't everywhere-one of my biggest pet peeves). We will make this the gas station of choice for our San Antonio to New Mexico trips! read more

This place is sucks.. just like the manager there (Goey), and the two ladies who works at the subway... I went there two get a sandwich and the lady at the subway was busy talking to her friend/ customer. She was taking for ever. So I decided to look at my fb while I was waiting. I then, opened a video that posted on fb. And that's when the employee tells me ( TURN IT DOWN I CANT HEAR WHAT MY FRIEND IS SAYING). That's exactly what she said. I was like what??? I really had make sure she was taking to me.. that's when I told her the music in the store is louder than the video in my phone. So she gives me this look and goes inside to call her co worker. Than she comes with this mad look on her face. Asked me what do I want in a Loud voice. That's when this manager comes and asked her what's going on.. I really thought he would take my side because it's not the way to treat a customer. Than the cashier said I was being rude by playing a video on my phone... lol. Again The music that was playing in the store was much louder than my video. That's when the MANAGER tells The cashier to put what ever she wants in my sandwich. I'm sure if the owner was there he would had fire this manager for saying this... cause if I had took that sandwich to corporate and showed them the stuff they put without asking me. I think since they're catching immigrants manager might of lost his mind and thought he's in Mexico already.... and when she picked up the stuff I didn't want, I told her I only asked WHITE EGG on a flat bread and toasted with American cheese. That's when the manager tells me to leave the store... I'm a owner operator and I spend nearly $2,700 in week on fuel. And the last thing I would want this stupid manager tells me to leave. I'm pretty sure if the owner was there he or she would had taken my side.. sometimes people like GOEY the manager thinks they own the place. I did told he that I spend more money at pilot than he makes. I did made a complaint at the corporate office. I want to make sure they learn their lesson and what they did with me would not do with other truckers.... read more

I am a truck driver. So I see fuel stops all the time. This one is one of the best. The first time I stopped to fuel there, the maintenance guy, named David, was very enthusiastic about customer service. It took me back to the time of full service fuel stations. It was National Coffee Day and Pilot TCs were celebrating with a free cup of coffee. On a long road trip from AZ to TX, I was looking forward to this. I entered the store and was greeted by a pleasant girl who confirmed yes, there was a free cup. How does it work, I asked? She said just go get the small size and bring it up to the register. Great! Went to the restroom, got the small cup filled and approached the counter. As I was next in line, instead of going to her, I was directed to a pretty serious looking dude with wire rims, who asked me if I had the coupon. Coupon? No one said anything about that, even in the article I'd read on line listing all the merchants participating in the Int'l Coffee Day celebration. Long story short and with a very slow connection, I tried to get on Facebook where the coupon supposedly resided. When this didn't work, and hoping the guy would just waive the requirement, I didn't the free cup after all because Mr. Big Shot wouldn't give it to me.
