My boyfriend and I had the pizza which was good but be warn this gas station will call you out if your sitting down eating while parked at a pump (whoops that was us) I understand though because they were pressure washing around the pumps so there would be 2 pumps not able to be used at a time. Back when I had a gas car, this was always a go-to stop. Now that I drive an EV, I was really impressed to see they've installed GM Energy dual chargers there are two of them, which makes a huge difference. It's so much more convenient than having to drive up the hill to that random charger near the hotel. I'm genuinely glad they added these. It's going to make my trips out to West Texas a lot smoother and less stressful.

The one I scrouged up was the slowest pump I have ever used in my life. My brother finally said, let's just go. The women's restrooms were mostly clean. While I was waiting for my daughters, nieces, and my sister-in-law to finish up, I watched a worker block off entire sections where people were not saying a word to them. At first some didn't realize he was about to do repair work... Okay then! Lol. I won't forget this place because I witnessed a semi truck almost hit my other brother and his family. You're basically saying, "Yeah, our gas has the same octane as the guy across the street... but ours comes with a side of regret." Then there's the "restrooms for customers only" sign. Bold of them to assume anyone wants to be a customer after seeing those facilities. That bathroom isn't a restroom--it's a CDC field experiment. Walking in there feels like the opening scene of a horror movie. You're not washing your hands, you're rolling the dice with a superbug. The place has the audacity to guard those restrooms like Fort Knox, when in reality they should be paying you to go in there. Like, "Congrats, you survived our bathroom, here's 5 cents off your gas--oh wait, you'll still be paying more than our competitors." They just reopened, and were working on the gas pumps when we stopped there on 5/17. Half the dozen or so pumps were open. The inside was in the processed of being re-stocked. Easy access on and off the freeway, and it's the only gas station for about 50 miles around, so I was glad to stumble across it. Clean bathrooms too.
