It has a sister store in Kinder, LA which also used to be Boudin and Cracklin Express. it is located in Henderson just north of the highway at exit 115. I am not particularly fond of the boudin. A wee bit too spicy and kind of mushy, lacking texture and consistency. But I could give this place five stars just on the merits of their cracklins. Absolutely the best anywhere I have eaten, and I have eaten at many places. I guess there may be better somewhere... I would like to know.

It's nice to see this place still up and running, especially with so many gas stations located at the interstate entrance, you wonder how they can all compete. I heard there's another one in development actually. But this one is definitely holding up! The prices were lower than the others, which shocked me. The worker inside was friendly, and the area is super safe. There are a variety of snacks and drinks and toiletries in case you need to do some small shopping. Might have to start getting gas here more often when I'm in town.

Normally, it is downright filthy, but on its best day, when it's video poker customers aren't there, it's probably just smoky, dirty, and gross. Every time we drive by it I make my family go in and we act like we are walking into the Bellagio. I'm giving it three stars for the experience, not that it's a good experience, but in this day and age, an experience every red blooded American should have and maybe appreciate... maybe.
