He failed to see that a load bearing wall had been removed without any structural reinforcement for the hanging kitchen cabinets--which caused the ceiling to sag. The house was passed with flying colors despite not meeting code for safe habitation. Mr Moore verbally admitted that his employee did a poor job but refused to admit this on paper when the owner tried to sue us. to summarize: the inspector employed by Moore Inspectors did a terrible job. If the inspection can find them out, our builder would fix them fast before closing date. But because the inspection team missed all of them, now we have to go through the long warranty process with builder one by one. Below are the major missing points we found ourselves after we moved in, none of them are mentioned in the inspection report: 1. Large gap between front door and door frame, the door some times cannot securely lock. 2. Heat water faucet needs 2 minutes to get hot water. 3. Sprinkler system has several nozzles not spraying water and one nozzle spray to the wrong direction. 4. Front yard sewer/water valve not centered in the tube, and the tube is full of water. Additionally, we privately emailed Texas Professional Inspection team after we found the first missing issue(door gap). They first claimed that this issue is in their report, then keep quiet and never response to me anymore after I sent them the detailed content of their report and point out the issue is not mentioned at all.
