Webb property inspection company:…read more I the landlord of a private residential property personally paid to have this company to come do a test. I spoke to the inspector to let him know I was the one who paid for the test and it was none of the tenants business what the results were. The inspector did speak with the tenant after I requested him not to. He proceeded to let the tenant know what other test that can be done, when he left the tenant went up to his car and had a private conversation with him. I saw on my ring camera her walking up to the car and speaking to him through the passenger side window it showed that she was speaking to him for at least two minutes. I called Webb property inspection company to find out what kind of information he gave to the tenant. That this was supposed to be private that nothing should have been said to her. They (Jen) said she would speak to management and keep me updated. I called first thing in the morning never heard back from her, I called again and was told the same thing. I never heard from them the rest of that whole day. I would not hire them because they will not keep information private!

It just made sense to spend a little bit now to protect our biggest investment, then pay dearly down the road (and always at an in opportune time!) Home Quest came highly recommended with a great reputation for "roofline-to-bottomline" inspections. What we got was a real home "education" and a written report within 24 hrs, complete with photographs and recommended action steps! There were a few MUSTS (like a repair to the fireplace interior and on the roof), along with some lesser urgent "smart upkeep" items to prevent major repairs in the future. John and his son, Johnny, were personable, professional and extremely knowledgable. I would HIGHLY recommend Home Quest for pre-sale (selling) and home purchase inspections, as well as regular home "maintenance" inspections!

This was the first time I've ever needed an inspection and he was very patient explaining the whole process and what to look out for. He arrived early to the building and got right to it. While testing, he explained what he was looking for and what the tools he was using were doing. The report itself came super promptly that same afternoon (wow), and was easy to read through. There was a straightforward section at the top explaining how to read it and how the information would be displayed. Hyperlinks were throughout that made it easy to reference sections of information back and forth. I now have a very specific (but thankfully short!) list of concerns marked by level of danger/importance. Thanks so much Mike!
