Katy is THE BEST! She was my very first Pilates teacher and taught me everything I know. It's been almost a year! She's so patient and knowledgable. I love that she always tells you which exercise works which body part and what the benefits are. She really takes the time out to adjust your body or movements, so you can continuously improve. I have been doing Pilates with instructors since 2008 and Katy is the best instructor I have worked with. She listens to my issues and has a fantastic array of movements to address them. I started my pilates journey 6 months ago and Katie was my first teacher ever. I was so nervous my first class but she was so reassuring. I continued to attend her 6 am classes because she was always so upbeat and motivating - great way to start the day! After 3 weeks, I was hooked!! 6 months later here I am - stronger mind, body, and soul connection. Can't thank Katie enough for being there in the beginning and helping me get to this point. Great class and workout ! Katy's class was not only creative but it was a full on all out total body and mind engagement . Having done pilates for many years I can get easily bored from doing daily classes but this was not the case here. Katy's class was not only challenging but super fun and time went by fast! I drove 15 minutes in the opposite direction of work just so I could make it to Katy's 6am classes when she was in LA. Katy is an amazing instructor. I am a past Pilates client of Katy's and let me tell you, she is amazing! She taught my favorite Level 2 Pilates class at Club Pilates in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles and she worked by booty, legs and core to the max. She is an amazing instructor that will guide you through each pose and provide feedback on how you can make small adjustments that will perfect your form.
