The ambiance seemed great upon first impression -- the ballroom overlooks the driving range, and golf is his favorite pastime. My aunts did a menu tasting before the event and they said the food was great. They chose the following options: steak wedge salad, chicken florentine, and salmon and rice. However the day of the event was such a disappointment. The steaks were super inconsistent-- some of us had rare, some of us had medium rare, and I had a well done piece. What seemed strange about my steak is that it tasted...like organ meat?! I thought I was going crazy. My family tried it and they agreed something was extremely off about the taste. My cousin was struggling to cut his chicken florentine because it was so dry. The biggest offender was the salmon and rice... everyone who ordered this option received UNDERCOOKED RICE! Rice is one of the hardest things to mess up, especially if you use a rice cooker... The bread and butter that was served was dry and unmemorable. It's sad when the appetizers outshine the main dishes. The fruit plate upon seating was well presented. The Beef Wellington (A+ chef's kiss) and coconut shrimp were the saving grace of the event. The pork potstickers were just okay. We had paid drinks as an option, but I don't drink so I asked for a club soda. It came in a plastic bottle and it tasted like plastic. Outside of food, the ballroom provided us a projector. The AV team didn't seem super knowledgeable as it took 30 minutes to get the video AND audio up and going. Overall it wasn't the best in terms of food and the projector, but the room itself was great and the appetizers provided something to remember. Nonetheless, I'm grateful we had a place to create memories for my grandfather's 100th. Highly would not recommend this place for a wedding though unless you're looking to be disappointed.

Bunch of torn up equipment especially attachments. My worst complaint for this gym is their customer service. It is absurd how long your on hold to try to get in contact with them. Multiple times I've been on hold up to an hour waiting for an answer. People at the front desk do nothing but stand there, can't even answer the damn phone. Fucking ridiculous. Aside from that its just another normal commercial gym nothing special about it.

I requested a refund of the annual fee due to the fact that it's an annual fee and I would not be a member beyond the cancellation date of 30 days (the end of July). I can understand if I had cancelled a few months after the annual fee, but considering the cancel request was on the same day, I asked for an exception. I spoke to the rep at the gym and she told me to call the "800" number. When I called the "800" number and asked to speak to a manager, I was told to send an email. I sent an email and requested a call from the manager. Instead, I received an email response from a lead customer service specialist. The email wecare@fitnessconnection.com seems like an oxymoron considering speaking to anyone beyond the "800" number is non existent and the bad customer service experience. I have no doubt an exception can be made, but Fitness Connection is all about the money and not its members. I am warning anyone and everyone possible to stay away from Fitness Connection.

When the gym finally got completed and people started working out there, I had to stop and take a tour of this gym and I am glad I did. This gym is HUGE!!! and with TONS of workout equipment from different name brands, and TONS of cardio equipment which makes it better to have choices once your find your favorite machine to workout on. They have so many of the same machines, that you won't have to wait for a free machine like at most gyms. They also have a ton of other workout things to try, but are put on hold because of covid unfortunately. I'm happy I joined this gym and in case if you are wondering, you have to mask up and have workout gloves on at all times.
