I don't which move this happened, but alot and I mean ALOT of my belonging disappeared. LOST $$$$$$$ Renter's insurance and FEMA was of NO HELP. I have used this moving company twice, the first time two guys came and moved me from the third…read morefloor of an apartment building. They were very efficient and very fast but the woman I spoke with prior to the move ensured me there would be 4-5 wardrobe boxes for all of my hanging clothes, they only brought one. I had to make 3 more trips in my personal car to pick up the rest of my clothes which defeats the purpose of hiring movers. I messaged the woman back on Yelp about this and she left me on read with no offers of a solution for over a year. About a year later I decide to give them another chance and bring up the issue with the wardrobe boxes before. She offers a $50 discount and this time I arrange for 3 people to come and move me from a first floor apartment to a single story home. The most inefficient move I have ever experienced, they took longer to move than when I lived on the third floor and the guys had to wait for the elevator. They moved at a glacial pace and I ended up paying for 3 guys for the same amount of time as it took the first time I moved. On top of all of this they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands so my light furniture has black handprints on it from the moving dust on their hands. One of the guys dragged a piece of furniture and broke off a leg and I watched him use a piece of plastic to wedge the leg back in. Very unprofessional movers in my opinion, only one guy was taking his job seriously and trying to get me moved quickly the other two just lingered around waiting for him to move and package all my things. I didn't see a point in reaching out about the damage or the handprints as the customer service had already proved once your move is complete they could not care less about you. The pricing is fair, TRANSPARENT (no hidden fees or extra add on charges at all), and well worth every single dollar. On Sunday evening they let me know that no one would be here on Monday and that they would do it all on Tuesday. After talking with the office Monday morning they decided to send a crew out around noon. They arrived and started working. After about 15 minutes Kim came out to let us know they would have to raise the estimate and that the boss would call soon to talk to us. Kim was extremely nervous and was backed up by muscle when she talked to us. A real try at intimidation. The boss called and said instead of the estimate of $10,000 it would now cost us $15,000. We fired them and made them leave our house. They did not leave the neighborhood but continued to call and text. We had buyers looking at our house when the boss threatened to send Kim to our front door. We sure did not need that.
