    What's clean? Can you tell?
    Liz G.

Beware Vendors and Guests! This establishment in no way has your best interest at heart. All they care about is making a dollar and it doesn't matter what they have to do to get it. Hiring vendors and not paying then switching to someone else is not good business. Pictures show how little they try to do what's best and sanitary for guests.  If you knew your sheets were here right before going onto your bed, would you want to sleep there? It's impossible to know what is even supposed to be clean. We tried to improve on this process only to be told it increased costs and then we never got paid. I can guarantee they do NOT follow guidelines for sanitation and prevention of Covid. I will never stay here or recommend either their restaurant or rentals to anyone I know. Infact I will do the complete opposite and share my experiences as much as possible. I've never experienced such a money hungry disorganized business in my life. There are so many things that can be improved upon to provide a safe experience for guests, but that will cost more than they are willing to pay. I can say this is the least effort I've seen put into a vacation rental destination in all my business experience and people need to be aware of it.

Excellent dinner and drinks spot off the beaten path. Excellent service and great views. Food was good and drinks were cold. No complaints and would highly recommend.

Truly amazing waterfront boutique hotel with its own sandy beach, pier and five star restaurant as part of the complex. We look forward to being happy customers for many years to come.

Outside bar area includes fire pits and sand for your toes

Amazing views, fabulous food and drinks, and friendly service. Feels like a vacation dinner for locals and a great spot for visitors to experience local cuisine. Deco inside is fun and eclectic. Very comfortable atmosphere.

I believe it is locally owned. Customer service is great and they are always accommodating when we need anything! But the hotel should do a better job of cleaning the sheets. It's not bad but old stains aren't really out of the white sheets. The balcony has a great view and the dock is free to use. It's next to a seafood restaurant. Free parking with booking. I've been to this location many times over the past 3 years. I would recommend others to stay here.

Our room was ... relatively clean. One of our towels had a stain on it, there were some stains on the chairs in our room, and on the bed skirt (although the sheets themselves appeared to be clean). The king bed sagged in the middle, it was probably at least a twenty year old mattress. The sheets would not stay on the mattress. Half of the shutters in our room were broken, although we managed to position them to close well enough, and there were bugs in the windowsills. The screen door in the suite area was broken. There appeared to be a lamp missing in the bedroom. The TVs are tiny and very old. Much of the room quality could have been overlooked if we'd had better entertainment. The walls and floors are very thin - on our first night we could hear almost everything in the rooms on either side of us, making it very hard to sleep. It seemed that there was a TV on the wall directly behind our bed in the other room. The curtain rod in the bathroom had been moved/repositioned multiple times which left patches in the paint. The cherry on top was that we had no running water for a shower on our final night. This is an awesome location, it was such a bummer that the room was so low quality. It rained the whole weekend we were here, but if the sun had been shining we would have had the most gorgeous view. If this hotel gets a facelift, it could be an amazing weekend destination.

Total relaxation with every detail taken care of. First the husband/wife innkeepers Shawn and Steve were amazing and cared so much that we had a wonderful stay. We had my elderly parents w us in their ground floor room called the "Islandscape"and we had one of the main house "Narada" room. The view and location were fantastic. The breakfasts were special 3 course including fresh fruit and something sweet and savory. The baked goods every day by Shawn showed her love and talent for baking--even a goodie bag at our departure. If I lived closer, I would come more often! There's a game room, binoculars, hot chocolate w mini marshmallows, beautiful sitting areas to enjoy the view throughout the property including the front porch where we hung out after dinner. The restaurant right across the street about a stone's throw away at Charles Street served tapas and seafood w live jazz in a Sat night. We also tried Bugeye Grill another night and they were fantastic too. Never really had to get back in the car as you can walk just a few blocks up to the main part of town w a few shops and restaurants. Right next door is an outdoor salty tiki bar that looks fun when it warms up more. I could go on and on. Oh, and Calvert Cliffs park is only 10 min away by car where you can find shark teeth and fossils, which we did! Soo much better than a hotel or airbnb!

The inn was clean and welcoming when we arrived. The room and bed were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Both of our breakfasts were delicious and Tara was a great host. The one (admittedly subjective) critique I would offer is that we felt the house was a little too white and could have used some color and extra furnishings to add a more cozy feeling. Other than that, we had a great experience!

We booked through their website rather than through AirBnB, since it is easier to select the room you want through their website. Breakfast was wonderful! Coffee and Orange juice was served first, with French toast, eggs, and sausage. I know it's really only her running the show, but knowledge of the meal or a small set of choices would have been nice. They do inquire about any allergies. I wish there were a few more homey things that you would expect from a nice bed and breakfast, like some tea in the afternoon or something to encourage the guests to hang out at the Inn. I would definitely stay here again over a hotel!

I always like to give a lot of leeway due to covid and the employment issues that are basically everywhere. I didn't actually stay at this hotel, but I wanted to share my experience trying to stay at this Hampton Inn. I booked my stay the same day as my stay and expected to arrive around 7pm (4 hours after check in) and head to bed as I needed to be up fairly early the next day. When I arrived, which was around 730pm I was told that they would let me know when my room was available and they added me to a list of ~10 other people waiting for rooms. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one and the best they could do is have me talk with the housekeeper supervisor, but they preferenced that he wouldn't be very nice. I called the 800 number to hopefully get some answers, because the front desk was just unable to answer the most basic questions or provide any real timeframe. When I spoke with the woman on the phone she stated that there were issues with the rooms and they told me to wait, but she couldn't guarantee me a room. Eventually she called the "GM" of the Hampton inn who basically told me to get a refund. That's not really how this works though as I just drove many hours then now be told to get a refund. I eventually elevated the call to someone else in the call center since the person who I was speaking with would only offer me a refund. Fast forward 2 hours later the person on the phone finally figured out how to move me to a different hotel, but was trying to increase the cost per night and didn't understand why I wasn't willing to pay the additional money, since this wasn't my fault. Around 1030 or so I finally had a new reservation and all is well. I did have friends stay in the hotel at the same time, who stated they were having issues with clogged sinks and general housekeeping, but there was zero response from the management at the hotel. This place needs more than a few things, so until they get housekeepers, maintenance people and professional front desk staff - stay super far from this place. Thanks for ruining part of my trip. Big L in my book
