The best thing about this pub was that it was really close to the railway station, which was a huge benefit due to the fact that my bad was literally on its last legs. Mind you, when I rocked up, it was pretty packed in the front bar, but there was a good reason for that, which I won't go into on this family friendly website. The thing was though that this pub was actually where I was staying in Coffs Harbour, and there was actually more to it than just the front bar. They had a nice restaurat, a wine bar, and the rooms were really comfortable. Well, not hugely, but they were nice enough to have a decent sleep. I guess the one thing that annoyed me though was that they didn't have much of a selection of beers on tap, but nevermind, it was a nice place to stay nonetheless. read more
