He made an appointment for the next morning, and arrived on time with a new WH (the old one was rusted out). He spent over 5 hours, installed the new WH, new pipes, and new pressure tank. He even found and cleared the cellar gravity drain, which had not been cleared for at least 28 years. The workmanship was superb, his attitude was very helpful, and the price was more than reasonable. I'll definitely call them for any plumbing repair in the future.
