Nick Degner did a great job. He did my yearly check up on my plumbing and did a thorough job. He did see a minor problem with my toilet. The piece in the tank that flushes the toilet, the rubber was peeling away. It is not something that has to be done now but before it starts leaking. I am really glad he gave me options to fix now or later. I am going to wait because I have only had the toilet for less than 2 years. Nick was very nice and polite. He was also very professional. He wore his shoe covers when he was in my home. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. P.S. PF plumbing was a good choice before they got bought out be a large company. I had them unclog my kitchen drain. This normally cost between $150 to $250 for a short effort of about an hour. They charged me $619, outrageous. I called and complained and the manager agreed to return $179 leaving that cost $441 about twice normal. According the the technician (who did a good job) they jacked up there prices after the takeover but didn't raise his pay. I highly recommend you avoid these people at all cost. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

The first plumber who came and did a review and two jobs (new toilet and pressure gauge) was good and I was very pleased. The next time, to hook water back up in the kitchen after a new countertop was installed, I had to point out to a different plumber that the hot and cold water was reversed; ok, fine, he fixed it. The next time, the plumbers did not address a sound from the bathroom faucet that I mentioned, nor did they notice a serious leak of the back outdoor faucet. I called about the bathroom and was assured they would be back in touch. I waited ten days, not a peep. I wrote twice and asked them to email me (I wanted a written record of correspondence when there is a problem). One message was left on my phone to call them. I have been requesting a refund of the money I paid ahead for the next year's contract, but it seems I have wasted that $200 and will now have to hire another company to address the two issues. Summary: service depends on which plumbers come, and communication is surprisingly poor. I do not recommend. read more

Excellent plumbing services! I recently used PF plumbing for several issues: a toilet that was "ghost" flushing, a bathroom that needed safety bars near the bathtub, and a leaking shower head. They conducted a thorough inspection of my plumbing system and discovered that I had way too much water pressure coming into my house from the outside lines. This could have caused major damage to the pipes and fixtures if not fixed. Their work was done beautifully and very pleasantly. They called after each visit to make sure I was satisfied, and they also checked in advance to let me know exactly when they would show up. I can't imagine using anyone else. read more

I called PF to install an undersink water filter. I told them they'd need to drill a hole in my countertop to do that. They said that wasn't a problem, and we scheduled a service call. They missed their first service appointment, and showed up at the second appointment and told me "you need to call a countertop guy, we don't drill countertops." I overheard dispatch tell the plumber to charge me a service fee anyway, so he checked a couple of things and tried to upsell me. He offered me a new water heater he "happened to have on the truck anyway" and two significantly more expensive water filters that they sell and offer warranties for. His charge for a water filter installation AFTER the countertop drilling, which is all sharkbite connections, would have been $1100. Somebody is going to get the business to replace that water heater and install that water filter. It's not going to be PF though. read more

My daughter called to get a quote to disconnect her sink and install a new sink and reattach plumbing. The quote was $1585. She was replacing a two drain sink with a one drain sink, so I gave them some grace because the drain lines would need to be reworked. I told my daughter to get a new sink like the old one. I called the plumber back, anticipating a reduction and they took off only $100. I was head of maintenance for the County of Ventura in CA so I know how much things cost. I flew out from CA with my wife for less. I took me 30 minutes to disconnect the drain lines, water lines and disposal. Anticipate an hour to install because some drain changes need to be made. Incredible, if she as a single woman would have not asked...job is 320379. Was also charged the $65 trip charge. read more

I contacted PF Plumbing for a second opinion on a pressure valve replacement for our water heater. Our service technician, Jarrett Bowman arrived within one hour after the call was placed. The pressure valve was operating as expected, no high pressure readings found. Sutton service technician also gave saw corrosion in the tank and gave us a quote to replace 3 toilets,also not requirered maintenance. We purchased a service contract from Jarrett Bowman for preventive maintenance next year. Thanks Jarrett for excellent service on our plumbing. read more

I absolutely love this company. Previously, I had tried to support the small local plumber via Angie's list and other methods. I always seemed to be disappointed with the quality of work, commitment to appts and cleanliness following the work. I hesitantly tried PF Plumbing as a larger company and have never been disappointed. I know it corny but I actually like dealing with them for issues as I know it is one of the few service companies I interact with that delivers on all levels with NO exceptions. When making appts they keep you up to date by the hour of when the the plumber arrives. I have had 2 plumbers over the last couple of years working with them and both are still with the company which tells me they take care of their peeps. Their work is thorough and pricing is fair for great quality repairs that will not need to be repeated but has a great warrantee if needed, I never had to have anything re-worked. They do offer a service coverage plan that I opted to take advantage of since it saves me money on servicing my tankless hot water heater on an annual basis. Also saved on dispatch costs and you receive coupons via mail that adds additional savings. These are my plumbing peeps! read more

Wow, just had a terrific experience with PF Plumbing. I had a true plumbing emergency and they were here same day on short notice. They fixed the immediate problem plus made a number of additional improvements that will save us a lot of money in the long run for sure. We called them to fix a leaking faucet in the shower and because we had gotten a recommendation to replace our shut off valves. Matt was very friendly, professional and courteous, and he checked the shutoff valves and informed us they didn't really need to be replaced. Gotta appreciate someone who isn't after every dollar he can get! After putting in a new shower kit, it was still leaking. Rather than blaming our house for being old and faulty or something like that, he blamed the kit he had just put in. He did the whole procedure again with another new kit, at no extra charge, and that was the end of the leaking faucet. Including the dispatch fee, it came to $250. Not the cheapest fix or most exciting way to spend my money, but I know nothing about messing with plumbing. Be aware. Bf plumbing was recommended to us for a problem with hot water heater. The service rep was very friendly. The price to replace a 50 gallon hot water heater was $3400. After checking with very reputable plumbing companies in the area price quoted $1100. To replace two valves they quoted $726. Again other prices quoted was $250. that included parts and labor. i call this price gouging. read more

They are very friendly and show up on time. That's the only thing I can say about it. I was quoted $850 to replace a leaking drain in my shower. There is easy access to the bottom of the shower in the crawl space. They were kind enough to point out that my toilet tank is leaking and quoted $350 to rebuild it. The seals to replace the tank cost only $8.50 on Amazon. I've done this repair on a few other toilets and it only takes an novice about 45 min. Pf Plumbing offers a coupon on their website for $25 off ANY service. The refused to honor it for the Estimate saying that it's only good for work done on repairs. Sorry guys but spending time to give me an estimate IS a service. Perhaps you should state on the coupon that it excludes Estimates. I found another plumber on the BBB website who is also A+ rated to do the work. They quoted me just $375 to replace the leaking drain. read more

Nick came with a pleasant smile and was very patient with me because I was really stressing. He explained everything he was going to do. He really knows his work. Don't waste your time getting an estimate for work from these people!! I am appalled and completely perplexed on how they even stay in business!! I just had the most outrageous and ridiculous quote of my life, to install a dishwasher and garbage disposal! Cost for these simple installations=$814!!! That's right, not a typo!! Who in their right mind would pay this price?!! Shelby in their office called me afterward to collect for the visit fee (another $52) and I was like "What"... "Seriously"? I asked her how they could perform such highway robbery and in her "scripted" tone of voice she said, "Well, I am not sure what you were quoted but we have been in business for 30 years, blah blah blah". OMG!! There must have been some very poor and desperate folks out there that possibly had no other choice, or, no other knowledge that they could do much, much, much better!! This was my first annual visit, after PF Plumbing helped me out of a tight spot, when I first moved into my home in August of 2018. At that time, we needed a new water pressure regulator and water heater installed, plus a thorough cleaning of all sewage pipes out of the house. All equipment has performed wonderfully over the last year with no issues. Jarrett arrived today to flush our water heater, and check the home's plumbing systems. His work was thorough, and he explained every process he undertook. He took steps to increase our water pressure, and clear a few slow drains, all as part of our annual plan. He then installed a new flush handle in our master toilet, to correct an old problem. All work was fast, clean, and well explained. I continue to be a very happy PF Plumbing customer. read more

He was polite and respectful to our home as well as very knowledgeable in plumbing issues. With that being said he took the time to make sure we understood the process and problems. This company communicates very well with its customers (typically once an hour prior to them arriving at your home to complete a job.)They do however need to address their scheduling issues. I understand that plumbers will sometimes run into more difficult jobs than they may have originally anticipated, but they should work on a better system to resolve scheduling and appointment issues. This is especially the case when a customer takes time off from their job or have other obligations to tend to. read more

Was charged $310 for sewer line cleaning, January 2019. They were unable to clean the line but were willing to return the following Monday (this was on a weekend) for an additional $484 to "jet" the line. I hired another company who came out immediately and cleaned the line for $290. This other company is now my "go to" company. read more

P.F. Plumbing has done two major jobs for us: a new sewer line the day after Christmas (!) and a new water heater. In all instances they were clear, prompt, professional, and focused. Just DONT DO IT! I actually called this company by mistake after surviving a very bad experience with this company in the past I vowed to never use them again. I forgot the name of the company and mistakingly called them again! Well, since they arrived I decided to use them. Long story short, it was a VERY EXPENSIVE waste of time. We were lied to by the technician as he didn't contact their sister company to give us an estimate to fix some collapsed pipes that need repair and upon further investigation, he didn't even do what what he said that he did and we paid almost $1,000 for basically nothing! These guys charged me $618.75 for a simple hose-bib/outdoor spigot addition to my home's foundation. The work took 25 minutes and the contractor did not complete the other requested job for which they were called. When pressed about the other job, they later quoted $1,900. Another reputable plumber did that work for just over $300 (to code & passed inspection). PF's workmanship on the spigot was not a problem, but their bill rate and their response that they have "big overhead expenses to take care of" was not acceptable. I'd look elsewhere. ***UPDATE*** 2/27/2013 After a face-to-face mediation at their shop, I was able to amicably resolve the issue with PF Plumbing. A fair price agreement was reached and PF Plumbing kindly asked me to address this review on Yelp, which I have done. read more

I had no issue with the work or the service however their price is outrageous. They replaced a spigot in my garage. The total time involved from preparing the quote, doing the job and getting me to sign for my credit card was under 30 minutes and the cost was $322.00. I asked for a breakout for parts and labor and was told that was not available, that they just key into their iPad what the job is and get a cost. I felt I had no choice because the spigot was leaking into the wall and needed to be fixed ASAP and there was no time to get additional quotes. This was during regular business hours (around 12:30 pm) so there was no additional charges. $322.00 for around 30 minutes work seems outrageous read more

At first I was pleased with the installation of my water heater until the supervisor came out and found a few things that the installer failed to do properly. After several re-schedules he finally came and did a few things and said that was it. Afterwards the city inspector came out to give his OK and he found several things wrong and needed attention. Again PF Plumbing installer needed to come back and address the issues he found. I was given the wrong date (which he never came) and the girl from the office kept calling with updates on when "John" could come out to fix the problem which the city inspector found. Today she has called on the hour all afternoon giving me an "update" on why John was not showing up. My son talked to her this time (as I was irritated with this put-off) and informed her that we did not wish to be scheduled for a week out (meaning next week) and that we had waited long enough for this issue to be resolved.
